Week/Fruit/EDD: 29w 5d/ Butternut Squash/ September 25
FTM, Etc: FTM
Appointments: July 31
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Blue
Milestones: Nursery is floored, baseboards are on, we are ready to decorate!!
Symptoms: Peeing a lot, some dizziness
Rants: As of tomorrow it will have been one week from my blood testing for 3 hour glucose, and I have yet to hear from my doctor, or ANY doctor. I sent an email to my doctor after waiting the expected 48-72 hours for results, and when I got no response I called the nurses line and they sent an urgent call back in for the gynecology department. Nothing. Is GD something that no one gives a shit about? I wish I could get through to someone and I’m so frustrated
Raves: Best friend is visiting and helping with nursery decor! I love seeing her and her husband, it makes me so happy to share all this with her! ♥️
GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? Christmas!! Everything about it: picking the tree, the lights at night, the cold weather, baking sweets, watching feel good movies, getting just the right presents! It is just the best time of year for me!

peggyhill well, that's frustrating! I hope you hear from them soon. Hopefully no news is good news? I feel like most drs are usually fairly cautious with GD but it would be nice for them to actually give you an answer.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 29w4d/idk
FTM, Etc: #4
Appointments: Next Monday
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Pink
Milestones: ?
Symptoms: Pelvic soreness, insomnia, red bumps all over my back and shoulders, which has been ongoing for a while now. Yay hormones.
Rants: We just moved into our new house and, my gosh, it's a little frustrating not being able to do nearly as much as I'd like. I know it is what it is and I need to be careful but it's rough. The extra weight I'm lugging around these days slows me down so much, too! This insomnia is ridiculous, also. I get it with every pregnancy but it just seems so backwards...aren't we supposed to get MORE sleep in third trimester??
Raves: Being pregnant means people seem more to eager to help! They probably would, anyway, but it's been awesome to have all of the help we have and have friends and family pick up my slack a little.
GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? I absolutely love both Christmas and Halloween!

Week/Fruit/EDD: 26, bowling pin, oct 22
FTM, Etc: TTM
Appointments: currently sitting at the lab for my GDS, midwife Thursday
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): green
Milestones: baby responds to light 🤷🏽♀️
Symptoms: nothing new thankfully. Tired and my feet are swollen by the end of the day but that’s mostly because I am spending all my days packing and am on my feet way more than usual
Rants: packing whilst pregnant sucks. But we are purging so much stuff which is good
Raves: DH is finally able to feel consistent movement (baby used to stop as soon as he tried 😂) which is fun
GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? Hmm, that’s a tough one! With my kids I think Christmas, it is so magical for them and we love all the family time

Week/Fruit/EDD: 27+1 / bunch of bananas / Oct 14
FTM, Etc: STM
Appointments: Sitting in the waiting room for my growth u/s, then a regular checkup with by OB this afternoon.
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): 💙
Milestones: 90 days to go!
Symptoms: Dizziness, pelvic pain/pressure, lots of pee
Rants: Nothing, really. 🤷🏼♀️
Raves: I've been purging my stuff like crazy thanks to this nesting instinct. I've never been able to purge like this (I'm a bit of a hoarder) and it feels so good! I pulled more clothes out of my closet than I'm keeping. I can't wait to do little man's toys next.
Also, they're playing The Wedding Singer in the waiting room right now and I haven't seen this movie in so long. It's making me happy.
GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? I love Halloween! I've always been a bit bah humbug about Christmas, but it's so much more fun with a kiddo.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 28/rollerblades/Oct 7 FTM, Etc: 3 Appointments: today! Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): green Milestones: third trimester, baby Symptoms: some RLP when I make a fast movement; peeing a lot through the night Rants: had an ultrasound today (I have to have them at 28, 32, and 36 due to my first kid being over 9 lbs lol) and this kid is breech. They told me it’s still early but please send me flippy vibes b/c it’s making me nervous. Raves: The rest of my appt went well—I got the Tdap and Rhogam and found out I passed my 1 hour glucose. Baby was measuring somewhere in the 60th percentile with a HR of 149. GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? Christmas followed closely by Halloween, which is my second kid’s birthday

I don’t know about you, babystandish, but this heat is killer. It’s making things so much worse. It almost makes me long for the days of our winter and spring baby pregnancies 🙈 peggyhill, sometimes, it takes providers a long time to get the results. I saw mine on my portal Thursday night showing I’m rather anemic and my platelets are dropping again, but they have yet to call about any of it. I remember when I was getting betas done, there were times it took them 3-4 days to get the results when I saw them in my portal that night

randomosity, thank you! Hope I can get some information soon! cmb, I guess I’ve just never experienced a lag from Kaiser laying a week. Usually they’re pretty on top of it, but maybe they’re busy.

moonandback141 mine keeps flipping breech, too. But the fact that she can flip back and forth is comforting even though I know mine tend to prefer breech even later on. Chiropractors and spinningbabies.com are super helpful for getting them in the right position if your babe doesn't want to flip on their own! The latter helped me flip DS at 38 weeks. These little stinkers love to keep us on our toes!

Week/Fruit/EDD: 30/motorcycle helmet(?)/Set 25
FTM, Etc: STM+
Appointments: Aug 1 for 32 week check
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Blue
Milestones: 75% done!
Symptoms: just some what I am guessing to be sciatic nerve pain mainly in my butt muscle area. However it is chronic and has been there for like a month so who knows 🤷🏻♀️
Rants: It is so hot this week. All week is 85-95 and the humidity is terrible. Makes going outside extra miserable.
Raves: we got the baby room painted and the crib and dresser arrived so this weekend we can set up big things! Then after that we can start putting clothes away and decorating!
GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? CHRISTMAS!!! But mainly because I get to see my whole family and have time to just hang out and spend with the kids.
Also a huge excitement for Christmas music and decorations!

Week/Fruit/EDD: 32w3d, FL Pomelo, 9/8
FTM, Etc: 2TM
Appointments: Started twice a week NSTs this week at the new hospital.
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Pink
Milestones: Hopefully growing
Symptoms: Heartburn, back pain, BH, peeing a lot
Rants: Yesterday was my first NST and I ended up getting sent to triage for extra monitoring and they gave me a steroids shot. They also scheduled us to do a consult with the NICU doctors and do a tour on Friday. It was a crazy day.
Raves: Feeling slightly more ready for baby. Everything yesterday freaked me out so much that I spent $300 on Amazon while sitting at the hospital. At least I was able to get extra deals with prime day on top of the completion discount. We still have a lot to do around the house but most of the baby stuff will be ready as soon as my stuff gets delivered.
GTKY: What is your favorite holiday? I think Halloween tops it now since it's DS's birthday. I've always loved it but our old neighborhood was lame and we hardly got kids so it killed the fun. Now I have a reason to love it again. I do love Christmas for decorations and family time but I HATE buying presents.

cmb yes, this is by far my least favorite pregnancy. IF we go for #4 I'm going to need someone to remind me of how miserable summer pregnancies are. I'm at least glad it's going quickly though.

randomosity agh this is so frustrating!! Thanks for the info—coincidentally tonight at my prenatal yoga I was introduced to a lady who is certified in Spinning Babies and some sort of breech protocol? I’m thinking I might give it another week or two and see what happens but then I would totally be willing to do a session with her if it could help.

I don't know if it's because this kid is measuring so small but she seems to flip every other US. She is back to head down right now but she doesn't seem to stop moving.

@crazy3dogmom I'm sorry about your ILs! That sucks. Also I'm in MI and this heat is INSANE. We're supposed to get similar heat index this weekend too.

The OB was saying they start getting concerned around 32 weeks if baby hasn’t gone head down but they don’t pull out the big guns until like 35-36 weeks (inversion, scheduling of a c/s). The spinning babies lady, however, was like BE PROACTIVE—don’t wait. So I’m kinda hoping I can do some daily encouraging moves between now and 32 weeks.

I don't know if it's because this kid is measuring so small but she seems to flip every other US. She is back to head down right now but she doesn't seem to stop moving. My MWs give until 32/33w before doing interventions- 3x a week chiro, spinning babies multiple times a day. They’ll talk version if kid doesn’t flip by 36w and won’t even mention c section until 38w (they’ll try a couple versions first). They are very “be proactive!” on this. I know of multiple OBs who aren’t as productive and will just go “give it time..” actually happened to my workmate’s girlfriend, and when she had to have the baby at 37w, she ended up with a c section due to breech baby because they wouldn’t do a version on a FTM I got DS2 to flip right around 32w by chasing him with an ice pack 😂 spinning babies did nothing to coax him to flip. Stubborn child 😒

It’s definitely going quick. I don’t know why I thought a fall baby this time was a great idea. I’m so freaking miserable and we’re not even as hot as you are down there!
