We were up early to go crabbing today. We caught a lot but little ones so they went back. Now DH suggested I come to the beach alone for a while so basically today is the best day ever.

I'm sitting out back drinking my morning coffee in the last bit of shade with a small cool breeze. Last night I laid out here for an hour staring at the sky. I'm so thankful for the n13 getaway that reminded me of this peacefulness and pushing me to get outside furniture

Yes I’m trying to. My goal is 5 times a week but last week i only swam 3 times. Today i decided to switch it up and went to yoga instead. |

Morning. C, E and I had breakfast together at iHop and went back to school shopping for LO. I’m taking his shirts in tomorrow to get embroidered and then I just have to get his emergency kit items them I’m done. C doesn’t want to buy a new lunch box since last years is in ok shape but I would like to get him a new one. What are you ladies doing?

I’m feeling meh. My stomach still hurts/doesn’t feel right but I’m not vomiting so I’m getting things done.
E just went down for a nap so I’m hoping to clean the dining room and living room this morning but Cutthroat Kitchen is on and is distracting me.

Morning. C, E and I had breakfast together at iHop and went back to school shopping for LO. I’m taking his shirts in tomorrow to get embroidered and then I just have to get his emergency kit items them I’m done. C doesn’t want to buy a new lunch box since last years is in ok shape but I would like to get him a new one. What are you ladies doing? Are they uniform shirts or just getting them monogrammed? Pbk just had a sale on backpacks and lunch boxes last week so I ordered C a backpack (he hates it 🤷🏻♀️) and J a new lunch bag and a pencil case holder. She didn’t want a new backpack (I wanted her to get one) but hers is still in like-new condition so it’ll probably be fine. I do need to order new water bottles, but am unsure which to get. I’m also bummed that J’s school provides all the supplies. I love shopping for folders and what not! |

So my hormones have been right at the surface ready to spill over all day. But we ran errands and had lunch, visited some friends and I was fine. Then came home to this. Safe to say my hormones spilled. My dogs bumped the burner and there was a plastic cutting board on the stove top. We're lucky it wasn't worse. But holy shit. My whole house smells. The whole house is covered in a layer of ash. My grey carpet is 5 shades darker. And my in laws just walked in the door for dinner 😭😭😭  |

@chrisy, I do have a teeny tiny pang of jealousy for the uniformed school. I like shopping for and choosing outfits for the kids, but there’s something to be said for not thinking about it in the mornings.
For myself, when I worked, I used to outfit plan on sundays for the week (5 outfits, plus an extra super simple one in case one didn’t work out) . I think I will have to do the same for the kids(and then they can be a part of it , too)

I got everything but the kitchen cleaned. Now I'm sobbing. I'm so over whelmed by the kitchen. My mom, mil and A are scrubbing the cabinets. A sprayed the whole house with febreeze. But we have lifestyle newborn pictures tomorrow. I need it to be clean... |

Luckily no major damage. No one was hurt. Just snuggle the baby and let everyone else clean it up. Big hugs.
Oh and C is suppose to mail the box with the snowsuit and the little sister outfit to you tomorrow. I also threw in some shoes for her.

I hope this means I will not buy as many clothes for him anymore but probably not. I don’t know how many years he’ll be going to this school after this year. Our assigned school does not have uniforms. Because we are private school poor. |

I think it's better if I'm not involved in the cleaning. I'll notice every tiny imperfection forever if I'm up close with it.. let them do it and I wont know any difference.
