Both kids have been up 630. We are currently on the deck. I’m inhaling coffee and they are playing some game with bikes, an obstacle course, and a lot of yelling about the pj masks characters(?)
I’m letting mh sleep in.
It’s not quiet but I am very relaxed.

How did M sleep last night, @peach? Really good considering my milk came in and she had to deal with the flow change. I got mostly 2 hour stretches so I'm not feeling bad today. My grandma is going to meet her today, I cant wait. |

Just got my allergy shots and now I'm waiting at the dentist for my cleaning.
Cadence is going on a field trip to the aquarium today and is insisting they will be petting animals. Ok. I told her to let a mermaid for me. LOL

J decided today was the day that she was wearing panties to daycare, so i dropped her off with many a change of clothes and lots of prayers for the teachers, good luck all! 💁♀️
B was already being a helper in the room taking down some sort of project on the wall, where as exactly 9 minutes before that he had a fit that he needed help at home putting his damn shoes on. I mean, I need a manual for that kid.

Did you guys hear about the IVF mix-up that happened recently? It would be so heartbreaking. A woman gave birth to twins that errantly were the genetic children of two different families. After a court battle one family got their genetic baby. But all around how devastating. That poor mom who was pregnant with those babies after everything you go through with IVF and then to not get a baby out of it. IVF |

guster, how did you like Stranger Things? I just started this season and am enjoying it thus far. I loved it! I know there are some haters out there who think the pacing was too slow, but I really thought they did a great job with character development (especially with those fringe characters) I thought it was smart to have such separate subplots for different sets of characters — each like its own little mystery that all pulled together toward the end. |

On our morning walk with my boss and our VP of sales, they were discussing the game and how the bus ride will be mandatory. I told them I couldn't go because H has softball on Thursdays and I didn't want to send my kid off overnight to go to a ballgame. I'm glad I went ahead and told them so they could figure out a different plan on what to do with my ticket. Also glad I have an excuse because with the mandatory bus ride, I would be pissed at how late we got back to the office, THEN still had to get home.

I need USPS help...I want to do a return so I thought putting a box out with a return label would work. It wasn't picked up twice. So I then went online and scheduled a pickup for yesterday and put a note on it saying I didn't realize I needed to schedule a pickup. Still not picked up. Fairly certain our mail person hates me now.
So I will carry my box to the post office 10 min uphill in 90 degree heat today.
Am I doing it wrong though? At our apt, packages were picked up if left in the lobby.

Did you get an email with a confirmation of the day scheduled? I have scheduled pick ups for thred up and never had a problem. I think I had to say where the package would be. Sorry for the hassle. |

Hi!
Today is going much better than yesterday. I have another guy in the dept that is a better teacher and better personality all around.
My SIL was supposed to be in New Orleans for a conference but cancelled yesterday because of the flooding. They were driving so they are at my ILs and want to come over this weekend. I’m glad but wish I didn’t have to work so I could get some things done at the house before they get here tomorrow. It would have been nice to paint their bathroom so they wouldn’t have the samples up on the wall. Lol

X had his assessments for the school district yesterday and he did amazing. They said he’s an absolute pleasure, incredibly smart, and is going to excel in their program.
The SLP is also trained as a behaviorist, and even she agreed ABA is not the best route for him and Floortime will be perfect. It felt really good to get that opinion from someone who has that background.
So, I’m very encouraged and super proud of my awesome little guy.

My mom had told me a few weeks ago when we were talking names that she didnt like Mallory. So now every time she sees her she says how much she loves the name lol. Not sure who shes trying to convince.
