Yay for an early discharge, @peach! I always thought c-sections were a 5 day stay. I would be itching to get home, too!! And what’s sweet picture! 💕 48 hours from birth is the norm. But you can stay 3 nights technically if you want/need longer.

Am I the only one who was ok staying longer in a hospital. I knew I would get 3 hot meals and help if I needed it. I liked the hospital stay, usually on the last day I got bored though and was ok with leaving.

The vitals checks and all the pestering about her diapers, her feedings and putting her in her bassinet is what drives me nuts. The boys go to the sitters tomorrow so itll be just the 3 of us again, but in my own bed lol.

Lol! It’s just 14’ round. That is where it’s going to be for now. But if it goes well and isn’t too much of a pain, we have another spot picked out to make it more permanent next year. If we do that we will pour concrete for it to sit on and build a deck around it, and probably connect it to our back deck. Does the ladder come in and out or stay put? We had to replace ours this year and had one where the outside came off for safety when not in use, but it broke our new one has a lock but I dont like it as much It can come in and out. But I’m not a fan of it, we may look at something different.

She is so precious peachsmama! Glad S is doing well at night lfig! Also I am adamant 9 months out of the year that I'd never want a pool. But man, are summers rough... This is me too. I’ve said many times I didn’t want to deal with the upkeep of a pool. But S is seriously sooooo happy in the water. And it will be nice to be able to wear her out ! Lol.

I would have liked about 2 weeks lol. My food was good, people cooked and cleaned for me and watched my baby whenever I asked. It was the best vacation I’ve ever been on.

Morning. Currently sitting at the car dealership with both girls while my oil is getting changed. It’s almost done and they’ve done really well. After this we need to stop at my doctor’s office so I can get a blood draw. Nothing else really planned for the rest of the day. I need to get laundry done for this weekend and probably start getting things packed.

mwhip does the CEO have a family? He/she must think they are doing something nice. MH works in an industry that has a lot of dinners and sporting events and all that at night especially weeks when the teams from other offices are in town. He can mostly pick and chose what he attends though.

We purged the kid’s bedrooms this morning. DD brought me her Bitty Baby and announced it has always given her the creeps and she wants to throw it out. I was so excited when I got that for her when she was little. She got rid of most of her little girl toys and requested new bedding (hers is Frozen but when flipped over, it’s just flowers). I’m not ready for a big girl. I asked my sister if my niece would want the Bitty Baby (she’s 2) and she said she plays with her neighbor’s all the time so at least I can give it to a little girl who will like it.

kim22, doesn't purging feel good? We asked each of the girls to fill a bag for donations from their room the other days and Cass' was full of nothing but books. Then she precedes to tell me she's too old for Barbies. I told her to stop that nonsense and that I played with Barbies until I was 10 or 11.

He can mostly pick and chose what he attends though. He just has his wife, his kids are all grown and live out of state. I think he does think it's nice, and I would be fine with maybe 1 or 2 outings away from work annually, but every other month? No. If you want to see me outside of work, invite my spouse at least...and my kid. Otherwise, you have me for 9 hours a day, let's talk then.

OMG y’all, that was rough. I cried listening to them and I wasn’t the only one. There were a couple guys needing tissues, too.

I was so ready to get out of the hospital with C. With L I was fine staying because it was a break from C and they had a nursery! 6 weeks with A was a tad long though lol. They had really good food though. My favorite meal was 2 la croixs, chicken tenders, potato wedges, fruit and vanilla soft serve with peanut butter cups on it haha. Lol! I have a “favorite” meal at the hospital when we are in with S too. Chicken quesadilla, tater tots, banana, and orange sherbet and 2 apple juices. 😂

tgrimes, it started today? How long will it last? It started yesterday. The state rested so now it’s the defense’s turn. Not sure the defendant will testify because they mentioned in jury selection that you have the right to remain silent and they are not required to testify. I’m hoping this will wrap up tomorrow.

I know I’ve talked to M about this before and so has the pedi, but everyone remind your kids about inappropriate touching and to tell an adult if it ever happens.

tgrimes, ugh, is castration an option when sentencing them? death? some form of physical pain they must endure for the rest of their lives?

I missed the comment and am not sorry, tgrimes. I'm sorry you've had to be involved in this but I do appreciate the reminder. We have a book about being the boss of our bodies but we haven't read it lately. I think I may pull it out tonight.
