Ladies, I'm freaking out a little bit here. Earlier I realized I hadn't felt baby much at all yet today. Normally I feel her after waking up and also around lunch time she goes through a bit of an active bout. Today, none of that. I felt her kick softly maybe once when I woke up. Didn't pay to much attention to things as I slept like crap (hardly at all) and had a bad headache. Anyway so when I realized I hadn't felt her much yet I figured I'd tease poke/prod her awake a little, something that usually works. But not today, again I felt her move only once and that was it.
The past 3 nights I been having nighttime BH a TON, had a lot of BH on Sunday and Tuesday as well though yesterday it had gone down some (and for some reason I notice them less so during the day.. sometimes I don't feel it until after a while.. guess cause it's been happening so much?). In itself I'm never too worried about BH as long as they don't follow a pattern or come too close, but I worry I slacked in timing them or something. Also had a lot of lightening crotch recently. Due to extreme reflux, heartburn, indigestion and nausea I also haven't been drinking as much as I know I should.. so that has me worried as well.
Just before I drank a glass of cold water and am eating a popsicle icecream in hopes the cold will make a difference, and am going to lay down for a bit to see whether I can get her to be a bit more active.. MH is at work and I don't want to call him as the piece of anxiety I am right now.. so reaching out to you ladies! If there's no change in 2h I will call the MFM and see what they say. I am just freaking out and worried but also afraid I'm overreacting cause well PgAL/PAIF brain just is fucked up! The more I tell myself not to stress the more I just want to cry. Meh.

How far along are you?
You are doing the right thing right now. Drink cold fluids and something sugary and see if you can get her to move. If that doesn't work try not to panic but I would call your doctor to see what he/she recommends.

I'm just now seeing this, so I'm so sorry for not being here to at least pat your hair. FWIW, I would have told you to go straight in. In reading your update, this is exactly why. So, I'm so so glad you called and that you got in there to be monitored. But even if it had been a case of baby having a lazy day or whatever, PSA to PAIF: it's always better to just go in. Especially in late second tri/third tri. The nurses would much rather send you home with a false alarm than have something happen that you didn't get checked out for because you felt silly. Trust me, I felt like an absolute idiot all four times I went in with TT for lack of movement (all of which were likely due to having an A/P with her), but every single time I did they told me I did exactly what they want us to do in that sitch. muscari - I know your cell is about to die, but please keep us updated.

I'm back home! Update the PgAL thread hre: placetomeet.proboards.com/post/193894/thread, sorry for not writing a seperate update here as well but I'm absolutely shattered so I'm heading to bed. Thank you so much for your support and hair pats! Oh and I absolutely second, third and fourth ketchup: if you're worried about not feeling movement or other things that freak you out, especially when you're further along, please do call and go in. They won't think you're overreacting, they won't think you're crazy or silly.. they much rather see you 10 times and be able to sent you home reassured then have something happen. I felt really silly when baby suddenly got more active for a few minutes just after we got to the hospital, and thought to myself "maybe I should have waited some longer".. but then all the scary heart crap happened and I was ohso glad to be at the hospital!

Quick update:) Baby girl passed her tests with flying colors today, pretty much a text-book perfect CTG. They also rechecked all vitals, bloodflow etc on U/S and again things checked out good. I was hooked up for like 1.5h and she showed zero decels yay. They honestly still don't know what caused them yesterday. As I still don't feel a lot of clear movements, and she had such an abrupt decline in movements they do want to continue daily CTGs for the time being.

muscari, I'm so sorry I'm just seeing this but so happy that all is ok with baby! I definitely would have been all for you going straight in and I'm so happy you did. Sorry you had to go through that scare. I'm glad they are keeping a close watch on things. ((Hugs))

Last update for now! Yesterday during the day she was still real quiet and slow, though since we had had a good CTG and ultrasound around lunchtime I wasn't too concerned. In the evening I finally got her to respond to me gently teasing her some, and MH&I had some good quality time with her where she was responding to his voice and all ♥♥ I literally fell asleep with a smile on my face, it was so good to feel her properly again for a bit! Overnight she was also more active then she had been the previous days, so when she fell quiet again when I woke up I just figured she was taking a nap This morning I spent another 1.5 hours hooked up and once again baby girl did great. She had a bit of a slow spell halfway but picked up the pace again before too long, so we're all happy with how she's doing. So relieved! Best of all, we don't have to come back tomorrow! We already had an growth scan and a regular appointment with the OB (my MFM is on holiday still) scheduled for Monday, so for now it'll just be one day without monitoring/follow-up, and we're going from there. But all in all we're quite positive and no longer freaked out (too much anyway haha)! And once again they've repeated umpty times that no matter what we can ALWAYS call and come in, rather x times for nothing then once too late, and I've definitely taken that to heart.

Awesome update muscari! It definitely is always better to just go to the Drs and get checked out. Things can progress so quickly! Is the baby in a good birthing position?

I'm just now seeing this but glad everything is ok. That's scary and I'm glad you went in to get monitored. I've only had one day that scared me and it was when I was sick and I didn't go to the hospital but if it happens again I definitely will.

Awesome update muscari! It definitely is always better to just go to the Drs and get checked out. Things can progress so quickly! Is the baby in a good birthing position? Absolutely! I felt a little crazy and silly to feel so worried cause well she has had quieter days before and I worried that maybe PgAL and PAIF brain was juat f*cking with me. But it just didn't feel right.. and once at the hospital knew I had made the right choice. From now I always will follow my gut feeling! Baby has been head down for a week or 3 orso and seems to like the position heh. Babies are weird - who wants to hang out upside down for so long??! 😊 Tho if she's anything like her mom and dad it wouldn't surprise me if she decides to take up a different fav position last minute just for shits and giggles. 😉 Did you find out how your baby is positioned yet? You were going in for a scan for that right or am I mixing you up with someone else?

Thanks all for the continued LTs and love. We had another bit of a scare on Monday when during our regular check up and U/S they found I am low on amniotoc fluid. Ugh tis one thing after another? When looking at my chart I noticed I was already lowish before the weekend as well - wonder why they didn't mention anything but I guess the decreased movements decels took priority at the time heh.
Since there isn't much I/we can do about it and babygirl is back to her normal movements (and hopefullu stays that way!) they will just continue to monitor us closely and I have "orders" to call and come in when I leak or feel her less again.. It is a little (lot) stressy and makes me rather feel anxious at times tbh. I feel like I lost confidence in my body some or something. And not sure to trust my feelings but hope my instinct won't abandon me.
Am trying to stay calm, rest as much as I can and we are just taking things one thing at a time. 34 weeks today and I really hope she will decide and will be able to stick around and cook for at least another 3 weeks but we will take anything we get!

muscari, sorry for another scare. Hopefully it won't become an issue and she'll stay in there for the long haul! Easier said than done, but don't stress about it. There's nothing you can do, and adding more stress to your body/mind won't help anything either. Just try to make the most out of these last few weeks. 🤗

I'm so sorry there's even more stress to add to your situation, muscari! Are they planning to monitor you more at this point to keep an eye on your fluid level?
