Hello! I'll start out with a confession. I've been confused when reading the blinds and all the alliterate celebrities. I was like, how can all these people not read? Like, how do you act if you can't even read your script!?!?! Obviously I've been confusing alliterate and illiterate....

I took today off. I still woke up at my normal time. SMIL is coming to pick evie up around 8. I made a list of everything I need to get done today.
I'm currently catching up on Big Brother. H is at work. SMIL is picking evie up around 8. I'm going to go for a long walk, then get started on the red white and blue lasagna I'm taking to my dad's tomorrow.

Morning! Ds’ school was closed for the day , dd preschool wasn’t. I never get to spend a half day with just ds. We went to the zoo as a suprise, we took the train. Het was so happy and so surprised, it was adorable. The kids are playing away nicely and I should really get up and do something, but I really do not want to.

Morning! I'm in a far better mood today (though the day is young, haha) and it's basically my Friday, so I have no complaints yet. My biggest pain "partner" at work is closing up early for the holiday, so how bad can it get? Famous last words... My ILs were supposed to come up this afternoon to pick up the boys from daycare/camp so DH and I could go out for our anniversary. Now I think it's kind of silly since we're literally leaving the house at 5am tomorrow for a 4 day weekend, just the 2 of us, but he insists. Anyhow his parents are always willing to help out their kids, which is great, but they could stand to say no now and then. DH called his Mom last night to confirm timing for today, only to find out that she also agreed to dog-sit for my SIL until, well, she didn't actually seem to know when. So who knows when MIL can actually be at our place. They don't owe us anything so I'm certainly not mad, but they need to feel comfortable telling all their kids - including us - no sometimes. DH was pretty put out but after talking about it, it became clear that he was more upset by his Mom acting absent-mindedly and her not seeming to realize that she agreed to do 2 things that she just couldn't do simultaneously. I think it really shook him.  We've joked for years that she's the only sane one among our parents, so I'm afraid he's going to have a really rough go of things if this becomes an ongoing thing. |

On my way to drop the boys. Then I have an ob appointment and need to go to the store. The boys were less than impressed with the choices for breakfast lol.

Morning. J has been getting up at 5:30 and waking everyone up. Not ideal when I have been up til midnight lately. We will have an early dismissal today but I plan to work on school work until daycare pickup time, which is early at 5 today.
Mh is putting the drawers together for our Ikea dresser and they weren't opening/closing smoothly but I knew he'd get grouchy if I commented on it. Thankfully after he left I tightened the screws and it works now. I was panicking it was a bigger issue since he isn't the handiest..

Morning.
I dropped M2 off and M is staying home with me today. We’re headed to the gym soon, then not sure what is on the agenda. His school gave him a worksheet packet to turn in for a special treat at the start of school , so he will probably to a few worksheets while M2 is not here to ruin them.
I also have errands and will be heading to Lowe’s to get the paint for the bathroom.

Walked/jogged 3 miles. Now I'm sitting on my ass trying to get the motivation to start cooking.
I received an email with the results from evies DNA test, but cant view them from my phone. So I'll probably get the laptop out and hope I can view them on that. Fx it tells me what was causing her frequent urination issues.

Both M & H woke up in the motn. Not sure why H did. M wanted water. I put water in her room every night. Apparently it tastes yucky...
FFWC - I heard H wake up and I pretended I didn't so MH would take care of it. I know he'll go down easier for MH and he always comments on how he's taking advantage of me in the motn...so I figured he could handle it.

 I've been listening to Lionel Richie this morning. I'm a sucker for 80s power ballads. wineallthetime I always pause for a minute when I see "alliterate" in the blinds. Enty's sophomore English teacher should be proud that apparently that one literary mechanism really got drilled into his brain, but I wish he knew one or two others to refer to occasionally to mix things up. |

tgrimes, both my kids were up MOTN too (which is super rare in my house, if no one is sick). B woke up around 2:00 screaming his head off for daddy. I went in there, mostly terrified he was going to puke on me again (he did not), but he just kept saying he wanted daddy. I convinced him to go back to sleep and he did. But then I was nervous something was wrong given his recent sickness and MH recent sickness so I stayed awake for a bit, then as I was about to go back to sleep, S called me in. He was upset b/c he couldn't find his favorite animal. That was 2" from his leg. So all in all, I was up for 2 hours MOTN. Fun.

Ehh - in the grand scheme of things I'll take being awake but everyone being healthy. I played a few games on my phone then tossed and turned a bit. I was sleeping in the guest room too (Our house rules are we don't sleep together when someone is sick to try to keep the other one healthy), so I think that always makes it a little harder to sleep. |

I'm 1 cm. She striped my membranes which hurt like a bitch.. hopefully something starts happening. I'm still going to schedule my c section and just hope I don't need it. But she did say no more doctors appointments. She'll be here in a week either way.

I’m driving to Vegas with the boys tonight for my mom’s wedding tomorrow.
Pete and I had “the talk” this morning. He’s dropping Poppy of at his SIL’s and moving out all of his stuff.
I plan to file for divorce on Friday. So, yeah, eventful week!
