The little guy has HFM y'all. Boo! I'm going to be so upset if DD gets it and has to miss her first day of school. 😠We had so much planned for the next week and a half to enjoy before school begins. 😪 Hope he's feeling better or at least starting to by now! And hopefully your DD didn't get it!! Haha! Thank you! She and I had fever and sore throats but were fine after about 1-2 days. Thankfully Dr. said we were all fine to be around others after 24 hours fever free. DS even had a clear throats with no red spots in his mouth at all. He's doing great now. I can't really even see spots or tell them from his eczema.

Tomorrow, my little girl starts pre-k. After 4 years being together every single day, this will be tough. But I'm also so excited and so is she.

Well, we have a first word! Two, actually. C has been saying Da-da recently, and has gotten much more specific with it (says it to Daddy or when he wants Daddy). Last night we went out for pizza and C was in the high chair eating and we were all finished and I asked him if he was "all done." we've been patting the table when we say all done to teach him the sign. He patted the table and said "Ah-dah!" and repeated it multiple times. Then, later when I changed his diaper when I finished he said "Ah-Dah!"

I looked up the milestones and questionnaire for dd's 12 month visit and we've been working on a lot of the "tasks" she should be able to do. She's hitting a lot of the milestones but is still pretty behind with speech 😟
The last few days and nights have been rough because DD got both top teeth in. Feeding her has been not pleasant. We're starting to wean though so my nipples will be able to recover soon.

I really should look up the 12 month questionnaire, some of the stuff on the 9 month I was like "ummmm i've never tried that?" for example "does your child try to get at a cheerio in a clear plastic container?" Thoughts and prayers for your nips, the top teeth coming in was rough for us. Biting has finally become less frequent (and of course now he has more teeth coming...).

Why would I have tried that? One of the things on the twelve month questionnaire is does your baby lift their leg to help you get pants or a sock on. DD rolls around like an alligator and does everything she can to make it as hard as possible to get her dressed. Are there unicorn babies who sit there patiently and help you get them dressed? Haha
