My throat is killing me. I never really get sick, so this burning is too much for me. MH let me sleep in. 7 am!! Unheard of!
I took a day quill and am not letting it stop my day from happening.
We’re taking the kids to the beach and then back to purging closets and the garage.

Morning! I hope your throat feels better guster! Nothing too exciting for me today. We are having 'professional pictures' done at work today, so I'm debating if I take my normal walks in the morning and afternoon (outside) plus go to the gym on lunch. It will destroy my hair and make up. I can't decide if I want to meet up with the women in H's family tonight for drinks and dinner or walk the lazy river with my friends. Or stay home and be lazy. Evie is going to my dads for the night and H is going to play softball. Last night was a shit show at my house. Evie didn't nap yesterday, for some reason MIL thought a quiet day consisted of picking peaches for 3 hours, then playing with water balloons, before her tumbling camp. Which she then took her to the park afterward instead of bringing her home for dinner. Evie showed up a hot mess, didn't want to eat her dinner, although she was overtired, knocked over a cup full of apple juice, was sent to her room for talking back to her dad, where she cried for about 15 minutes. I finally told her no school today (her last day) and no tumbling camp, if she didn't stop crying and eat dinner. She finally said she was hungry, so I made her some easy mac, since I had thrown away her actual dinner, then she asked if she could take a bath (I think trying to redeem herself). I told her no sass, no talk back. Which she was good during bath, ate dinner and went straight to bed. I told my dad she could go to school and tumbling, but if she acts like a turd, she doesn't get to go. She's so tired. All that to say, my SMIL and my mom's churches are doing bible school the same week again...SMILs is during the day, my moms is in the evening. I'm inclined to tell her she has to pick one...she just can't handle that much activity in the same day, with no nap. |

Morning! E did much better sleeping last night then all the other nights this past week. I’m currently getting ready for work. I’m suppose to work for my current team in the morning and my old/soon to be team this afternoon. However that’s what I was suppose to do yesterday and that didn’t happen so we shall see.

We've got a trip to Dillards planned b/c B needs new jeans before our trip; we'll probably get CFA and then B has a make-up speech session since he'll miss a few while we're out-of-town. He's making great progress according to the SLP so I'm really hoping we will be done this fall. Selfishly I hate having twice-weekly appointments  |

mwhip, Poor Evie! Sounds like a rough afternoon for you both. How do you think she’ll handle no nap in K? A friend was telling me for the first month of school her son fell asleep on the bus ride home everyday!! She had to climb on the bus to wake him up!

She doesn't nap daily...like she never naps for us at home, but she will nap for my SMIL and my dad (hopefully she takes one in between school and tumbling today). So I don't worry about her too much when she starts K, especially since they won't be out in the heat and playing non-stop. I do think bedtime will be much earlier when she's in school all day, which I'm all about! |

Last night Michigan lost and the debate was a hot mess with everyone trying to get a word in..it was hard to tell which was less painful to watch.

Hi!
Speaking of naps, M told us that he wanted to go to a school/camp where they don’t have cots so he doesn’t have to nap. He doesn’t like to go to a school that takes naps. So frustrating that they still make kids his age lay down for a nap. In his K class, they start the year off with naps and then wean them off by the end of the year. I wish they just did a quiet time instead because my almost 6 year old is quite done with being told he has to take a nap.

Im sitting in the parking lot of the gym eating a bar and finishing my coffee before a workout. After I need to go home and clear some surfaces and wash windows. This afternoon I’m planning on sitting on my ass and catching up on TV. I have two more moths of free premium channels so I have to catch up on all those shows before I cancel them.

Good Morning! Where are we on baby watch, @peach? Despite all my pain, doctor says to expect to go past due. I do not accept that. I cleaned my basement yesterday and moved a pile of lumper. I'm mowing my yard and my brothers today. Maybe the bouncing will get her moving? Lol. Tomorrow I'm going to take the boys to the park and walk the trail.. shes coming. Whether she likes it or not! |

I'm trying to avoid abdominal surgery. And people act like I'm trying to avoid going to the dentist or something.

chrisy01 I think I did that update a while ago. Have you been having issues with it shutting down on its own and your phone getting hot? I know lots are having that issue and wonder if it’s tied to that update.

You can try doing all of those things to get her moving, but you don't really believe that eating pineapple or going to the park will magically get you to go into labor, do you? I understand wanting to avoid a c-section but you can do all of these things you're trying and you might still end up with a c-section. ETA: I don't blame you for wanting to try all the things though. |

M was a monster this morning. We didn't get home last night till 10:45. She was crying on the toilet because she didn't want to pee. I knew this morning would not be delightful, but damn kid. MH had to be a work early so I was on my own with both of them. I was 45 min late for work.

You can try doing all of those things to get her moving, but you don't really believe that eating pineapple or going to the park will magically get you to go into labor, do you? The enzyme in pineapple softens the cervix. I know I could end up with a c section but doing these things harms exactly no one. And since I have successfully vbaced once, I have to at least try to bring on labor. My body wont do it on it's own and pitocin isn't an option. If I dont go by my due date, I'll schedule my c section for the following week. If it doesnt happen by then- I'll have the c section. |

Just sitting waiting for my vendor who is 20 minutes late and counting.
Can I say I feel validated this morning. I have been telling my bosses for months that our vendors need Safety and RMP (a safety thing unique for here). If not, we could get stopped from completed work because they are not following our company’s policies. They haven’t done it. Well last night a vendor was caught not doing the proper thing and the work was stopped. Both bosses got a nasty email letting them know it was bad. Now all our vendors have to get the training or work will come to a halt.
It sucks the work was stopped but at least I have it documented that I have been asking them to get them trained.

Morning gals.
I took the day off for B’s last day of kinder! I cannot believe it. The year went by so fast and he’s come such a long way. How crazy. After school I’ll pick him up take him to lunch, then to the Swatch store to pick out a Flik Flak watch as a graduation present, he’s going to be so excited.
I also scheduled our new ac unit installation today, so he’s here doing that.
MH has been an asshat the last couple days and it’s so goddamn exhausting. Needless to say I’m enjoying the space and am counting down to the Sept exercise that’s scheduled for him. Let me pack your bags NOW so you’re ready....mmmmkay?

Morning. We had a big thunderstorm this morning. It’s still kind of clearing up. The girls are at swimming lessons. The head lady said she wasn’t sure if they were going in the water or not. I’m sitting in my car so I can’t see them to know for sure. We were at the pool literally all day yesterday and my kids were still a giant pain to get to sleep. I want to send them to sleep boot camp or something, I am so over it. I’m not sure what we will do for the rest of the day. The high is 89 but I don’t know if I want to take them to the pool, they were both giving me attitude this morning.
