Y’all...Why do I spend so much when I’m off? I went to Sam’s to make a return before going home. I needed more baskets for my bathroom, so I ventured into the store to grab those...$160 later. Whoops!
I got an outside picnic table for the kids- only because they had one left in the better of the two colors. I bought M an osmo genius kit because it was $50. 🤦🏽♀️Normally $70-100 on amazon. I don’t know when I’m giving it to him yet. And there was a small kids luggage set on clearance for $15. Couldn’t pass that up so I got it for M2 as his “birthday present” since I didn’t have anything for him.
Why am I like this?? Take my cards away now.

I'm sorry your H is being a douche vino. I hope he comes out of it soon. Last night we watched American Ninja Warrior. I was annoyed it was filmed in Tacoma and we didn't know. We definitely would have watched it if we could have. I kept yelling at Maddie to come down from upstairs and watch it with us because she loves that show. She kept not answering. Finally she did. She was asleep!!! She took a nap in her bed...at 8:00. I told her never mind, go back to bed but it was too late. My child who never sleeps put herself to bed! She took 3 TKD classes in a row yesterday, but even that usually doesn't phase her. |

lahdeedah I’m the same way on days off, I run around town dropping money like it grows on trees. It’s awful. Today I’m paying for a new ac unit, pricing out new tires and windshield for the car and getting B the watch...bye bye monies.

I’m waiting at the doors for school let out and there are some Mom’s here that have flowers for their girls last day! I’m dying of cuteness!

I feel better! Took the kids to the beach for a few hours, picked up mh to grab Dunkin’ (actually went in which is so odd to me), ran to Aldi for stuff to make tacos, and the Home Depot to get more garage bins. I’m excited to get home to relax and purge some more.

Well lahdeedah i was coming on here to tell you about the big sale that started today at Dillard's, lol. Just ignore me! I did get B a pair of jeans (7X), and also a windbreaker I'd seen this spring that had been marked from $50 to $20. I had him try on the 6/7 and it fit, technically, but I did not see it lasting much longer, so we went with an 8. An EIGHT. In the Big Boys section. How did this happen?? I am not ready to shop over there. We got our CFA fix and then headed to speech; I found out our SLP is leaving at the end of July for another job elsewhere and I'm bummed. I'm sure whoever we end up with will be fine but I don't like change. |

Hi, girls! I’ve been trying to stay caught up but it’s been a challenge with some severe jet lag, although I think I’m finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. I did breathe a sigh of relief when I saw flamingo is still doing CFA and Dillard’s runs regularly. Somehow, that feels oddly comforting. |

At least the boys dept. is just larger versions. I saw little black dresses today in the girls' section and my mouth almost hit the floor. It looked like stuff a teenager or college student would wear...definitely not something I'd put an elementary schooler in! |

Things are pretty nuts with getting settled in after my trip, schoolwork, and planning a turn around trip to Vegas for the 4th. Yes, we’re driving out there. 🙄

Overtired, hangry five year-olds are really a thing. Last night, Atticus had a serious meltdown with real tears because Pete gave him the wrong flavor of Gogurt.
He’s spending a lot more time outside during camp and I think he’s still adjusting.

Well my hair was the culprit for the shower clog, whoops. Any recs on things to catch hair if you have a drain stopper for the tub that you push/pull? The mushroom thing seems good if you have an open drain.
J is hard at work for a surprise party for his puppy in 3 weeks, and has apparently invited one of his teachers.
I have my glucose test tomorrow morning, Lord help me if I don't pass, I have been eating so much sugar lately, I'd be in a world of hurt.

I'm disappointed...none of my friends can do the lazy river walk with me tonight. MIL sent me a text to see if I wanted to go to the girls dinner/drinks, so I said I would, as long as she could wait for me to come home and change since I'm in a dress and heels. She said that was fine. But I don't really want to go. I may end up not feeling well when I leave work today, and enjoy the time to myself tonight.

I’m in the salon chair. I have confidence. I’ll post before and afters in a few hours.
We went on another gorgeous bike ride today. We only have one day left and it’s sad to leave. Dh and I have been more connected here than in over a year. Which tells me a lot of our issues are tied to stress so I think we need to work on that.
We have cat names. Are you ready for this?
Mom is : Mega Evvee Ultra Beast. I will call her Evvee, which is a Pokémon.
Baby is: Marty Moo
I was totally voted out in the moms name but I like Evvee so I’ll deal with the craziness C and DH came up with.
