We have my cousin's graduation party tomorrow afternoon. DD1 and I are making chocolate chip blondies to bring.
Sunday is brunch with my parents, sister and her bf. We will celebrate Father's day and my H's birthday.
Also need to go to Costco and the grocery store. I might try to do that today

No plans. I think I might have a hair cut tomorrow, which is always nice. J also needs a hair cut. Other than that just normal errands and chores around the house and lots of time outside.

i really need to go back in the attic to get down the 18 month clothes for DS3-- i waited too long to get down the 12 month stuff and now most of it is on the small side. and since our attic access is just a hatch AND it's in the kids' bedroom, it's a big production to go up there and has to be done on the weekend.
oh, i also have to find shoes for a wedding. a wedding which i am reeeeeeeeeally not look forward to, i might add.
other than that, chores and cooking. maybe we'll go to the beach on sunday since it's supposed to be nice.

I have bags of outgrown clothes sitting around for both kids and they're overwhelming me. I don't know if I want to go through the work of selling them through consignment or not. I literally have all of DS's clothes saved from baby to 4T because I wanted them just in case we had another boy. We took a break from swimming lessons for the summer and now soccer is over so I thought about tackling them this weekend but I don't know what I want to do with them yet. What do you all do with yours?

What do you all do with yours? I've been donating to different causes that will redistribute them free of charge to the recipients. It's not worth my time to consign. Most of the stuff has been through several kids so it's not worth much anyway. The best stuff goes to a foster clothing closet and the rest goes to churches, Young Parents Network, and to people I connect with through no buy pages on FB. That being said, I have some outfits that are new with tags so I might take those to OUAC and get whatever cash they'll give me on the spot.

Tonight we were supposed to have a company picnic at a park but it was canceled due to t-storms. It's probably for the best because it was the first week back to daycare for the kids after six weeks at home so it's been an adjustment. I think a quiet night at home is appropriate.
Tomorrow the kids have swimming lessons and an afternoon of going stuff around the house. Maybe a trip to Sam's Club.
Sunday we'll do Junior Jumpers at the trampoline park to celebrate DS1's sixth birthday. Then we invited my parents and aunt over for brunch to celebrate my mom's, aunt's, and DS1's birthdays (all within six days of each other).
It's going to be a rainy weekend so our plans work out perfectly.

What do you all do with yours? I passed a huge haul onto a friend that just had a baby boy. I'm keeping a small box of my favorites and will have a quilt made. I would have just donated them if I didn't end up with someone to give them to.

What do you all do with yours? keep a few items for mementos and pass the rest on to whichever one of my cousins or DH's nieces or nephews has a kid first. after going through 3 kids, though, a lot of the stuff is not in great shape. i think i'd have to make another pass through it and toss anything that looks really worn or stained.
i know people sell stuff on those local facebook tag sale groups-- but i think it's easier to sell it in lots rather than by the piece.

We made it to Michigan, so I'll be hanging out in the middle of nowhere. It's decently warm here today, so if it's like that this weekend, I'll spend some time out by the little lake as long as the mosquitoes aren't ridiculous. Also hoping to pawn the kids off on aunts and grandparents so that I can recharge my introvert battery. 2 days in the car with everyone has made me a wee bit edgy.

My mom, sister, brother in law, and one of my cousins came for a quick overnight visit yesterday. It was so nice to get to hang with them for a bit! The only downside was we had to take L to the pediatrician today. We thought he might have an ear infection since he's been super fussy this week. Luckily, no EI, doc thinks he just has a lot of teething pain. The plus to taking him in though is that we got some new stuff to try for his eczema. It's been flaring up really bad this week on his neck and his legs. So hopefully we can get it back under control again. His face has luckily been looking great, but other areas have been getting progressively worse the last couple of weeks.

vvvvvfee I put a 18 month sleeper on H for bed tonight. The 12 month ones were definitely getting a little snug

doublestuf How was the drive?? I didn't realize that it was so soon! It was good, thanks! Charlie slept a chunk of each of the legs. We would go no more than 4 hours at a time without stopping and did about 2/3 of the drive yesterday. No prolonged periods of screaming, which was good! DD did great for the most part and never whined about the drive/being bored. Hopefully, we'll all have it in us to do it again in a week!

What do you all do with yours? I also kept ALL of DS clothes in case were to have another boy. Once we found out that we were having a girl I happily started selling it. I keep everything sorted by size in large plastic containers. So I have one for 0-3, 3-6, 6-9, etc. What I've been trying to do is look through a few sizes at a time, pull out what I think she can wear and then bring what's left to Once Upon A Child. Whatever they don't buy I donate to Salvation Army. I know people will sell them on FB but I just don't want to deal with all that. It's still a tax write off anyways. I'm just keeping a few of the sentimental items.
