Morning! Beautiful pics nam2013 . I like the part about leaving troubles behind. Cute! 1 out of 3 patients showed and I’m just about done with him. I have to renew my CPR, so I’ll be doing that the rest of my time here. Good thing about this place is Friday is basically half day. Woohoo! My dad is visiting this weekend so I have a lot of things to get his opinion on about house stuff. I also took vino ’s advice and ordered a water slide. It’s not the exact one she got, but same brand and similar. The kids will be so excited Saturday. Awesome! They're going to love it! I took the kids out for a quick errand while MH set it up in the yard, I had all the drapes down at the back of the house, the kids changed and we recorded their reaction, it's was adorable!Probably overkill but meh, it was cute to see their reaction. B played on that thing for 3 hours straight.....that it not a typo. 3 hours. I have been looking for 5.5 years for something to hold his attention and FINALLY found it...that in itself is a victory. |

So my dad finally came to visit. He always says he will visit, but you never when he actually will come and I only believe it when he calls or texts on a Thursday to say he is leaving next day. I’ve been wanting him to come to the new house because I need him for some house stuff. He finally comes and on the way here, my brother calls him asking for money for something. So now he has to leave tomorrow afternoon to get the money to him before they leave Sunday. I’m annoyed because now I won’t get everything done and who knows when he will be back. Sorry, I just needed to vent.

Dh is down for driving to CT tomorrow to see the cats and adopting them if they can hold them for a week. I emailed the rescue to see if that’s a possibility. 🤞 After that we will come home and head to the Cape whenever. We can’t get into the house until 3 anyway.
ETA: they emailed back that they can hold them if we bond and want them!! Ahhh!

lahdeedah, that sucks. I'm confused though. If your brother is requesting money and your dad is providing it, isn't there many ways to get the money to him without him needing to travel to your brother?

My dad is very southern and old school. He probably is either going to get cash out of an ATM or write him a check. He doesn’t do the apps or would even know about the online money transfers. |

He is a diesel technician and never needed to know computers, so not keen on technology. His current job has kind of thrusted into the tech world a little, but he is still very old school in a lot of ways. |

Boys and dogs are asleep so I carried tigger out to the living room and he didnt immediately go back to his safe space! Hes walking in every room, checking everything out. Play room is his favorite so far lol.

Thanks for letting me vent guys. It’s dumb, I know. I think I’m also annoyed because the boys love when their grandparent’s visit and now their time together will be cut short. Ok. I’m moving on now and letting it go.

Zorro woke up and saw him walking around. They both reacted calmly to each other. Just sniffing and then tigger swished his tail in his face and kept exploring.

I'm chuckling at your dad lahdeedah , my dad was once (infamously) quoted as saying, "I don't need to learn to use a computer, I'll get my secretary to do it." Ha! He is now fairly tech savvy (and even got Venmo this year!), but we give him a hard time about that every time he starts extolling the virtues of streaming TV or whatever ("says the man who didn't think he'd need computer skills...") |

We decided not to go to NYC at 8:30pm. I think mh was down for it but I was the one unable to decide on a hotel and was overwhelmed with getting us packed and in the car in 20 min. We asked j what he wants to do this weekend and he referenced our summer to do list and mentioned he has some cleaning to do😂. So I'm going to Barre at 8 and hoping to do some local things in our city and not too many errands.
