Age: 2.5
Milestones: All the sentences and Spanish. He's had a language explosion!
Challenges: He's got a horrible yeast rash. Poor buddy.
Funny/cute stories: We had some bad storms last night and the rain was coming down so hard it startled him awake. I went to check on him and he squeezed me super tight and said, "I scared! What took you?!" He scolded me for taking too long to rescue him. BTW it was 2 cries before I was in there LOL
How are you? Exhausted. Moving sucks so hard.
Anything else? I can't wait to get into our new house. I love it so much. I want to buy all the things right now and start decorating!!!
QOTW: Probably grapes. Kid loves some grapes.

Age: 1 year (12 months)
Milestones: finally had teeth break through, yay!
Challenges: clinginess that makes it hard to get stuff done. He's also got his first (mild) fever, which really doesn't help the clinginess
Funny/cute stories: when he gets excited, he'll start hip thrusting. At his birthday party he stood up at the chair next to my friend and started hip thrusting. It's normal for us now but my friend was all "what are you doing!?" Which called attention to the fact that it looks weird as hell lol. We all had a good laugh about that.
How are you? Pretty good. We have to go work a convention next weekend so that's a little stress, but my mom and brother surprised us with a visit for Fs birthday and having them here was really nice.
Anything else?
QOTW: If your kid could only have one food for life, what would he/she pick? Eggos. 100%

Speedy, omg LOl at the hip thrusting. N did the same thing. If we were holding him, or he was sitting on us, or climbing on us, he'd just thrust into us, so every time he did it, DH would laugh and say "humpity humpity hump, N!" and then N would do it again, and repeat. They'd die laughing. It was so cute and funny and inappropriate.

Age: 22mo
Milestones: had a good speech therapy appt! also he finally listened to me when I used my stern voice on him.
Challenges: sleep. what else. >.<
Funny/cute stories: yesterday we were both off work, so we got to spend the day together as a family. N had no interest in going outside, so we played inside all morning, including just running around in circles in the living/kitchen/dining room and up and down the hallway. We were exhausted and he just ran back and forth and laughed and laughed. I got a super cute video of it and some cute pics of him running and yelling. He just thinks its hilarious to run from end to end of the hallway and hit the wall (with his hands) and then turn around and run and hit the bedroom door and repeat. whatever thrills ya, kiddo!
How are you? okay. i had a 90min massage for my birthday and OMG amazing. Idk if i can ever go back to 60min massages LOL
Anything else? we're going to a water park next week! N started swim classes again and he cried for most of it, so we're hoping the water park will help. He likes water but DH says he thinks he's too cold in it, but it's supposed to be one of the warmer pools in the area, so IDK what to tell him.
QOTW: If your kid could only have one food for life, what would he/she pick? oh gosh. probably goldfish.
