guster,That is super cute. Is it a chihuahua mix? You prefer the small dogs, right? I hear you on the cat thing. I had that same thought with Max but I knew he was so happy having all of our attention again, after he got over the loss of our bulldog. So to ruffle that up seemed like a bad idea. But you know your cat best and I can see it being a good thing in the right situation.

If you're using it as a middle name, I don't think it's a big deal. Β―\_(γ)_/Β― Because I would hear daily how I stole her child's name.... my brother is using J's middle name if sil has a boy because it's our dads middle name. He asked me if I minded, doesnt bother me a bit and wont ever be mentioned. My cousin would actually blast me to family and on social media constantly for it... But, the name was a previous relative...a family name. Not like you're stealing her special snowflake name. That's something very odd to blast someone daily about, in my opinion.

guster I was shocked at how well Denny adjusted to our dog. He was 11 at the time but that old man quickly fell in love with our dog. It definitely helped that we got Lily as a pup so Denver was bigger, and Lily has a gentle, calm demeanor.

This is the same cousin who is guilting my grandma about moving in with her daughter that's a nurse because she's actually dying. Nothing she does makes any sense. But I dont want her wrath constantly.

peachsmama ,Rocky is a classic and its very possible one kids dad will have their son watch it and then kids will be yelling "ADRIENNE!" to her. Honestly, just hearing the name makes me want to yell it. I don't even know if I saw the full movie. *snip MH liked the name Stella, but I couldn't do it without screaming out Stellllllla! So that was out. I hear the Cam version π.

But you know your cat best and I can see it being a good thing in the right situation. I think it is a mix. His feet look too big to be all Chihuahua. Small to medium. In my head I think I really want a beagle, and mh wants a corgi. I donβt think the cat would like sharing the attention, as heβs been the only for about three years. Prior to that heβs always had another cat or a dog with him so itβs not something we be introducing out of the blue but I think weβre in the golden years and that does change my mind on his past ability to split attention.

It definitely helped that we got Lily as a pup so Denver was bigger, and Lily has a gentle, calm demeanor. Stories like this always warm my heart. Maybe thereβs a chance for our old boy to make friends. Not even that I think heβd see much of the dog as he spends all day on the couch in our bedroom.

@peach, does your grandma have a favorite flower or is there a flower that special to you and A? A lot of those names are really sweet.

L and two of my nieces all have the same middle name (which is also my middle name), named after my mom. No biggie! My sister just named her daughter Luc.ia and was worried it was too close to L's name. I told her to use whatever name she loved because who cares!

tgrimes,so the next step is the culture? Will that confirm the diagnosis? Are you getting new tubes put in? Sorry for all the questions. I feel so bad for you and him and feel the need to know all the things!

My SIL used the boys version of dd middle name as her sonβs middle name, claimed she didnβt know it was ddβs middle name, whatever I donβt care. As a third name she used my husbands first name βjust because they like the nameβ. They are not close. It was awkward to say the least.

tgrimes ,so the next step is the culture? Will that confirm the diagnosis? Are you getting new tubes put in? Sorry for all the questions. I feel so bad for you and him and feel the need to know all the things! No, we've already done cultures. The blood work should confirm the diagnosis since his IgM is low with the rest of the immunoglobulin levels are normal and all of the cultures we've done come back with common bacteria that he should be able to fight off. It's up to the immunologist to give an official diagnosis though. No tubes for now. Since people usually get sick less often in the summer months, he wants to wait and see how he does. He said to be prepared for him to get sick again after everyone returns to school in August, but if he continually gets sick again, we'll do the tubes. I understand the reasoning for it, but it sucks.

M's middle name is also my middle name, my MIL's middle name & my mother's (although she goes by this name since her first name is Olga). I don't think middle names are that big of a deal.

inthekitty , Happy Birthday! tgrimes I like Eliza Mae or Eliza May too peachsmama . I also agree that it's ridiculous for people to be upset about a similar name, esp as a middle name. But you know your family better tgrimes , how were you at Selena's viewing?

We thought we were standing in line to register, but it was for the viewing. They did the viewing for a couple days. She was huge there.
