peachsmama he doesn't like months? It's not like you're trying to name her September or anything.

@peachmama Mathilda? Sophie? Somehow with your boy’s names another classic seems appropriate. Amelia? Ceilia? Cecilia? Melanie? Lila?

+1 my goodness dinner was a disaster. I started as the worlds funnest mom, the kids asking to eating picnic style in the garden and me letting them, but it ended inside with two dinner refusing kids and two very frustrated parents a full hour later😖😖😖.

I just remembered my dream. We adopted this little albino Chihuahua, and we were working on training her/him to use a litter box. Is that a thing? Regardless, it was such a cute dog! It is actually a thing. I would never do it because dog poop smells worse than cat poop and dogs are less likely to cover. Plus they need to get out for walks anyway so it only makes sense to me if you are homebound for some reason.
What your dream tells me is that you may be ready for a new pup in your life!

I could talk food all day At Elmeson(top pick!): I would get like a zillion of the tapas to share with your friend. If I come to visit you, I want you to bring me here. At Benjy’s (2nd choice): Cola braised short ribs withthe roasted cauliflower or the pistachio-crusted goat cheese cakes At Salento (3rd choice): Salmon and avocado tartine or Ceviche with the Grilled salmon and ginger kale salad Or the meat and cheese board with the Moroccan cauliflower Cafe Rabelais (my last choice): Our famed mussel raiblais style withthe tomato salad

It definitely is. We’ve been talking about it a lot and I’m sure looking at all of the rescue sites every night gave me some ideas. We’re trying to decide if we should do it soon or wait until Charlie starts kindergarten because then it would just be me home with the dog and I could acclimate him or her to our house with less chaos. ETA: our kitty’s habits are changing too, and I know he’s getting old, so I also don’t want to stress him out with a new friend, but then I go back-and-forth that maybe a new friend would give him an extra push in his old age.

She used every relative's name that we lost. Both my aunts, grandma, grandpa, and my mom- obviously not passed yet.

He asked me if I minded, doesnt bother me a bit and wont ever be mentioned. My cousin would actually blast me to family and on social media constantly for it...

Just this weekend, we had this conversation at dinner:
MH: Josie, you’re named after both of your grandmothers, and Charlie, you’re named after your Aunt Charlotte Me: He is? MH: He’s not? — Apparently MH has always thought we named Charlie after his sister. I liked Charlie bc how it sounded with all our last name and how it it felt timeless.

peachsmama,Rocky is a classic and its very possible one kids dad will have their son watch it and then kids will be yelling "ADRIENNE!" to her. Honestly, just hearing the name makes me want to yell it. I don't even know if I saw the full movie. I love the name Eliza (pronounced Eh-ly-zah right?. DH has a friend with that name. She goes by Liza though because people mispronounce it otherwise. I think I would probably change it to Aliza to avoid the nn. Selena is cute, but I do think of the singer (not Gomez).

Our annual antiterrorism training always uses a case I was involved in a few years ago. Gives me the creeps to be reminded of those guys.
