LOL nam2013 I already forgot about the month thing. peachsmama I always liked the name Elissa or Alysa. If I had a girl, she was going to be Molly Rose. I think Molly was on your list. I also loved Anna, but I know you can't use that since it's basically the same as Ana. I still like Mallory for you too. MH liked Rosalie.

Any chance you could use your grandma’s name? As a middle name? My cousin already did. She used every relative's name that we lost. Both my aunts, grandma, grandpa, and my mom- obviously not passed yet. Just because someone else used it doesn’t mean that you can’t too. Especially for a middle name.

I like this bc I really enjoy names that descend in # of syllables. 3-2-1. peachsmama is there a family name that could be used as a middle name? Your mother’s maiden name or similar? That is fairly popular/common here in the south. Before getting married, my middle name was my mother’s maiden name. My sister’s middle name was my Dad’s middle name.

I may end up in the ER with a hand wound, but I have to try it! I need to try it too. I have tried the trick where you put them in a jar and shake but that trick actually didn’t work very well for me.

I wish it would warm up here in the mornings a little quicker. Poor girls come out of the pool freezing after swimming lessons. Next week should be better for H anyways.
We had a video doorbell installed last week on Friday. That evening part in the house started this constant, annoying buzzing. Today a tech came out to look at it, and of course the buzzing stopped before he got here. He looked at a few things and gave me some suggestions for if it happens again.

I smash with the peel on and then the peel basically falls off (or at least separates)

I haven't watched the video though

flamingo what sounds good for reverse syllables? J has 1-1-3 and N has 2-2-3 (is Margaret 2 or 3? I think I say "mar-gret". We are focusing on shorter first names or even 4 letter to keep with the other two. I have 11 cousins on my mom's side and our middle names were all our moms' maiden name, which is kind of fun.

My sister kept her middle and maiden name and has 2 middle names. I grew up being called my maiden name though (hence my IG handle), so very much a part of my identity. I didn't want to do hyphenated or drop it, so this worked for me.

tallb I like short names too. We have 1-1-3 & 2-3-3 (we pronounce DD’s name Dutch not English 😉). I think we’ll try to stick with 1-2 syllable names for a hypothetical third as well.

This name thing is stressing me out. I guess that’s why I surrendered early and let DH pick the last one. I like his name but the spelling broke one of my name rules and I’m still getting over it lol.

So Sarah Jane Smith becomes Sarah Smith Johnson. I had no idea that was not a thing up north? I’ve known a couple women who did not take their husband’s name, but I can only think of one person I know IRL who kept the middle name she was born with and dropped her maiden (last) name.
