OB appointment in a little bit. Boys are at the sitters today. Thank God. I need to invoice and do payroll. And meal plan and grocery shop. Tigger is fully adjusted and loves all of us. Still taking it slow with the dogs. It's funny when he drinks water, since he cant see it, he dips his paw in to make sure theres water there lol.  |

It’s super grey here. I really need summer in full force.
I don’t have anything real planned today. I mopped the floors while the kids watched TV; I am starting a load of laundry now, and I might strip the beds for that midweek fresh sheet feeling tonight. Exciting times!

Hi everyone.
B has a field trip today that I was having some reservations about. It’s to a giant playground/park area that is walking distance from our house. I’ve stopped taking the kids there ever since mh started having those bad Lyme flareups. The playground area is shaded by tons of trees and it is set right in front of a State Park.
I know I can’t keep her in a bubble for the rest of her life, so I made her teacher promise to cover her in bug spray. Then I reminded B this morning to make sure her teacher applies it.

I just remembered my dream. We adopted this little albino Chihuahua, and we were working on training her/him to use a litter box. Is that a thing?

If you didn't have to take A's opinion into account at all what name would you chose? I'm honestly not sure at this point. I just want him to agree that my choices are officially on the list. He just keeps saying that hes not sold. And I don't know how to take that, is that a no? Is that a maybe? I don't know! And since we've thrown out the middle name, I need him to start suggesting some middle names. We can't agree on that either. My favorite middle name is joy and he absolutely despises it. |

No but M is named after him. We had agreed on That a long time ago. And J has been my name since I was a little girl. So there was no negotiation since he got Matthew named after him with no fight from me. The only girl name we've ever agreed on is Ana's. |

Cadence is on her first field trip. They are going to the Capital. She's been excited about riding the bus, but then this morning she said she was scared because what if she gets lost at the capital. I told her that everyone will be wearing the same shirts and to find a friend and hold their hand. That there would be nothing to worry about.
When I dropped her off she asked me why I couldn't go on the field trip with her. They oddly enough, didn't ask for parent volunteers.
...I'm just hoping she doesn't get car sick! |

It’s been a long 2 days. Yesterday morning I had to pick up my nephew from school because he had a black eye from falling and night before and the nurse was concerned he had an orbital fracture. My sister came as soon as she could and took him to the ER but then I picked up the rest of her kids and mine. ER said he was fine so that was good. Then I had to have a conversation with a crazy mom who has been harassing the whole pto for a year (she was mad about being asked to buy sprinkles. Everyone else was offering to buy them for her but I said it was not actually about sprinkles and was about her just harassing people and enough was enough, I was calling her out). Ever since I called out my boss for her bullshit, I feel like I can tell everyone to f-off.
This morning my oldest nephew who goes to school with my oldest texted me that his friend on my son’s bus texted him (on a different bus) that my kid was throwing up on the bus. I was already on the way to his school by the time they called me. He is quarantined because T’s graduation is Friday then me and DD have our birthday’s this weekend. I swear we have never had the stomach bug this many times in one school year.

Not much on the agenda here...almost time to leave and get B from golf. It's 25+ minutes from our house so this daily drive is getting old for a relatively short amount of time there. If I sign him up for another session this summer I'm going to do full-day.
random, but omg my FB messenger is blowing up. A woman I know from a previous duty station wants my opinion on paint for her new house. And not just like, A or B...she's sending multiple photos and scenarios. Cannot deal right now, lol. This is one of the downfalls of my 'profession'/background, people always want free advice. Oh wow, we're up to 10 messages!
