My mom told me this would be a 30 minute appointment. I know doctors never work that fast so I assumed an hour. We're now passing 2 hours. My kids are starving. I'm starving. And shes still not done...

Ok, here's a question...what do you get for a 5 y.o. girl who has literally everything? Not exaggerating. This is a friend's bday party this weekend so under $20 ideally. I hate to do cash but worst case, I will put a couple $5 bills in with something small, lol. Gift card to an ice cream shop or some sort of fun activity like a trampoline place. |

Hey. The girls had swimming lessons this morning and my MIL surprised me by showing up. I told her what time and that it was all week but she said she was going to come tomorrow so I wasn’t expecting to see her. My 45 mins of alone time was spent chatting with her instead, boo. She made up for it though and bought us lunch at Wendy’s. Now we’re home for naps, then later this afternoon H has a dentist appt to get her cavities filled. I’m bringing S’s kindle in hopes that she will play with that and let me be on my phone.

Randoms...I turned on Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for B earlier and he is loving it.
Also, DH passed his instrument rating exam today (got a 93). I'm proud of him! He has been working/studying so hard.

Good job Mr. flamingo! Lolz. I put on Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead the other night. Cass in particular loved it. Maddie caught right on to the catch phrase "I'm right on top of it, Rose."  Hopefully we'll finish it tonight. |

My handsome kitty boy turns 15 years young today. You'd never know he was an old man because he's got a lot of energy and is still playful. He and Maddie have a special bond and it's adorable.

Finally home. I'm sure I'll regret it at bedtime, but I laid the boys down for naps at 4:30. They would not stop bickering and J kept saying "I'm just so tired.." It ended up taking 2.5 hours at the doctor. Never again. The boys were surprisingly good but it was rough.

Well I had promised the boys movie and popcorn tonight after dinner. But they wrestled and played instead of napping so I told them no. Jack's been screaming at me and slamming doors for the last 40 minutes so I've literally locked my door and am hiding in my room.... Obviously I'm killing it as a parent.

Hi hi - so I mentioned that we still have constipation issues and that j doesn't really tell us he needs to go, but will go when we have him sit at night or morning. She was concerned and wants us to get this under control this summer since k teachers won't be as accommodating as Pre-K. So we are to do a daily "muscle juice" (4 cups spinach, 1 banana, 1 orange, 1 cup strawberry, and water/coconut water or milk), and institute a rewards system if he tells us he has to go and then goes so he has motivation to tell us. She said we need him going daily and to call in a month with an update.
I just made the first batch minus oranges and I'm drinking it too. It worked for me already 😲.
Also I was supposed to take N in for A 2.5 yo visit last month, whoops.
