A left at 4:30 and my dogs kept me up from then until 6. M came in at 6:30 because he had peed the bed. Changed him and had him sleep with me so I wouldn't wake J stripping his bed. J came in at 7 and basically yelled at me until 7:30 when I got up to make him breakfast.
I need a nap.

We're going to the childrens museum in a bit. Other than that, I need to wash bed clothes and find our infant seat and wash it too.

Morning. Not much on the agenda. We really need to get our USA prep started, but we also want to do a laissez faire style trip, so I’m freaking out a little bit, but I’m also very exited!!!

peachsmama Sounds like everyone in your house is preparing you for not sleeping due to newborn. I feel so much better today. Left work a little early yesterday and laid down for 45 minutes, then ordered pizza for dinner. I think all the Dayquil I took over the weekend was the culprit. I hate taking cold meds.

Also my SIL texted me this morning that she had a complete panic attack last night because she started having contractions (ended up being Braxton hicks) and her car seat wasn't clean. So that's why I'm all over that today lol.

Question; ds is very worried about other people laughing at his clothes, appearance, wearing long/short sleeves when others might not etc. Not that it matters, but he has no reason to worry, he wears normal regular clothes, that do not differ much from other kids. I didn’t expect this for at least a couple of years. Any of your N13 also have this?

M was vomiting at 12:30 this morning. I have a meeting with the school district and then a state of the city address to attend at lunch. I bribed her to go to school since we couldn’t stay home and she doesn’t have a fever. I told her I’d pick her up early so I hope she does okay.

Hope she does ok today. tgrimes poor girl. nam2013 M wore uniforms for the past two years so nothing of that nature yet. He did worry about the kids laughing at him when he cut his own hair. |

Maybe not quite the same thing, but there have been a couple times lately that B wore something new to school that he loved (Natives (shoes), or a new pink polo) and after a classmate said that he didn't like them, B was afraid to wear them again. We just talked about how not everyone will like our choices, but if YOU like them, that's what's important. And I said how cool I thought his Natives were, and how much X down the street likes hers, and she has great style. Of course if he really didn't want to wear these things anymore--I wouldn't force it. But I'm not going to let some little punk classmate (who does NOT have good style, lol  make my kid feel bad about wearing stuff he likes! |

We went to Target after dropping B off at camp to get Father's Day cards and a couple other odds-and-ends. Now we're home and I'm assembling my slow cooker corn chowder, lol. Trying 2 new recipes this week...gettin' crazy!

Morning. S has a fever this morning. I’m scheduled to get my fillings replaced this afternoon at the dentist and I don’t want to reschedule so I’m going to dose her with Motrin and take her to the ILs. She doesn’t really have any noticeable to me symptoms. I tried looking in her ears and it appears that both tubes are out and just hanging in her ear canals. H has been hanging in the living room watching tv while S lays in my bed watching tv. tgrimes I’m sorry M threw up. I hope she makes it through the day ok. |

Hi.
M got to take his bike to school today so he was excited to go. M2 did well yesterday at school, but gave me the puppy dog eyes this morning when I passed him to the teacher. I didn’t stay long enough to see if he would start crying.
I registered M for K and tried to go to the gym. I get a discount at a local one through my job, but can’t join until I start next week. I went to do the free three day trial today and because I have an out of state license, I can’t. 🙄 So annoying.

I am freaking out. I accepted the offer. He offered me a staggered start time (basically I can do mornings at home 50% of the time and I'll need to hire a before school sitter the other half of the time). He assured me while it's a more structured company, etc, that it's still the 2 of us and he knows I'll get the work done.
I am literally sitting at my desk shaking.
This week I have been at my job for 24 years.
24 years.
Fuck.
