lahdeedah safe travels today, moving can be so tough. Thinking of you! Morning! Pedicures and Mexican last night was fun (and my toes look much better!) DH is flying this morning; it's raining here this weekend so not sure what's on the agenda for us. I'd love to deep clean our bathroom (#adulting), maybe I can get him to take the kids to an indoor play place or something. Before my dentist appt yesterday, I swung back by Home Goods and got that bag I'd seen. When I got home DH told me he'd planned to take the kids and go get it last night if I hadn't bought it myself; picturing them trying to find *the* bag out of the dozens in that color family is somewhat comical, probably best I saved him the headache and bought it myself

Morning! Evie slept from 7 to 7, Kid was wore out! Nothing much planned all weekend. I had quite a few people contact me that they want evies old swing set, the first lived 3 hours away. Lol, she realized that was a bit of a drive for a free old swingset. Some other lady is supposed to be here at 1. I need to do laundry and get groceries. Just another exciting weekend. I did just wake up from a dream that tgrimes was visiting me and I took her to Walmart. She was wearing some weird hat and talking about some former member she was still friends with, but I dont really know who it was. Dont worry T, I'd take you to Target at least! |

Morning! I went in to the streaming rain to buy my sister a present, nothing felt good enough, but I’m happy with what I found. I got a Sophie la giraffe, some muslin burp cloths, the most adorable little shirt with penguins & a cute card with a stork. Not much on the agenda, aside from figuring out what to get for dinner.

Morning.
In a couple hours B, my Mom and I will be headed to the ALS walk while MH takes J to sportball. After the walk, we’re headed to get a few creeping phlox flowers to add some colour to my front yard. Should be a good afternoon around the house and yard.

I'm bitter because I'm supposed to be on a kid free girls trip with my mom and sisters but the trip fell through so now I'm entertaining the kids all weekend while MH works on our deck.

Morning. We slept in and now are having coffee before heading to a graduation party.
After that, I need to go to the bridal shop to see what I can do about a dress. I have a long, navy formal dress i am supposed to wear next weekend as part of a committee. (Different from the grey dress in the shoe thread) I picked it up 3 weeks ago and it fit just fine, no worries. And now it won’t zip. Uuugggh. The shop donated the dresses to us, so there was no special order, only off the rack. I either need to find another or see if it’s possible to alter it. Fingers crossed.

Heading to the beach now. We’ve all had a cold and DS1 really isn’t feeling well today. Not sure if we are staying over or not but we have to meet the gas company to turn the gas in because they were doing work on our street and turned it off. DH promised T mini golf.

C has a friend coming over for a play date. I really need a nap so I’m planning that after he leaves.

Morning. I’m at work. I’ve actually had plenty of things to keep me busy this morning, which is a good change after the last couple of weekends I’ve worked. After I leave here I need to change quick and then we are taking all the sod I removed to the landfill while MIL watches the girls. It’s going to suck because the high today is 85 and I’m sure it’ll be that if not higher. My step mom texted me yesterday that they are going to stop by our house this afternoon and “we have news”. I have a feeling it’s not good news, and I just want to know what’s going on.

We went to a retirement farm for race horses yesterday. Kangaroo park today. Dino world tomorrow. It's honestly my nephews influence that's causing the issues. |

I found a new dress that has a little more give. Whew. Dressing up while pregnant is not fun.
Now I’m on the couch with a massager on my hip because my sciatic is acting up again. I think it’s going to be a long 4 months...

slenle glad you found something! If there wasn’t an alternate, I was going to offer you a one-shoulder navy maternity gown i wore to the Navy birthday ball, lol. It was so pretty, I’ve hung onto it in case my sister or a friend ever needs a formal dress while pregnant.

Cs best friend is over and it’s like having two Callans. Scary! They have decided that he is moving in with us and they will be brothers. His friend asked me if it was true that C had a brother that was a cat. I showed him a picture and explained that they were brothers because we were all family. I almost teared up.
This play date makes me wish so much we had a neighborhood with lots of kids his age. Having them playing outside and listening to them laugh has given me all the feels.

Gymnastics and grocery shopping done. I had a list with like 7-10 things on it and somehow spent $140. Ugh, I need to start sticking to the list!
Now we're watching the Will.I.Am episode of Songland and then Mh is taking Cadence away so I can have some peace for a bit.

I completely forgot the girls had soccer today. I stopped mid workout to bring them so I'm keeping a good smell distance from everyone. Woof.

So my kid free girls weekend turned watching the kids all weekend while MH builds our deck just added another fun element! Puke! Cause why not!?
I feel bad cause my 1y/o niece is sick so I told my sister to drop off the 3 y/o to play and go to C's soccer game. Called my sister 5min later to pick her up cause L is puking.

So good thing for the gas company work. The guy who came to reset everything found a CO2 leak in our hot water heater. It is currently shut off and the builder is sending someone over. C is finally napping for the first time all day in his stroller after I walked the entire coast of NJ with him. I’m enjoying an adult ice pop on the deck.
