Josie keeps pestering me to get a bike, but FFSC, i’ve never ridden a bike that has handbrakes, so I’d have to get a beach cruiser where I can backpedal to stop Pestering you to get one for her or you? Does she have a bike? And totally agree, much prefer peddle breaks! |

Morning all!
Baba decided last minute that she wanted the kids for the day...WELL OK, YES, COME NOW is basically what i said.
MH is already running to Lowes for some yard stuff, we’ve hung up J’s new mirror that she requested, I’m cleaning the house, the cars inside and out, yard clean up and some errands this afternoon. It’ll be amazing what we’ll be able to get done, I cannot wait to start the week with zero ‘to do’ list.

Remember last week when Hayden had a fever and I was worried about his ear drum rupturing? I kept looking in his left ear since it was the one that ruptured the week before and the infectious disease dr said was still really red.
Well, I checked both ears this morning & his right ear drum ruptured. I never even looked in that one. I’m the worst.

Hi! Thanks for thinking of me yesterday. flamingo We made it home around 1030am and, shocker, Mh had done absolutely nothing to the house since I left. I felt the urge to start putting things away. I only got through the kitchen/mud room/dining. We had a lot on the counters and such, so not too much work, but tiring after an early morning. My eyes are finally not sore from an emotional Friday. This was my hardest move yet and I’m emotionally drained. I have more putting away to do in the rest of the house, but I am planning to take a break to bring the kids to the children’s museum. There is a Daniel Tiger exhibit here for the summer months, so they should enjoy. Hope everyone has a good day today! |

wedding oh yum! Clam chowder sounds delicious! Re bikes I can not imagine not riding a bike every single day, beach cruisers are not the best for longer rides, for me nothing beats my city bike. I think I use it 3-4 times a day!

Just got back from Secret Life of Pets 2. It was cute. I liked Max's storyline and the cat lady.

Also hi. I tried to make up some of the miles I skipped yesterday this morning, which was probably counteracted by the donut I ate (thanks DH!). Then we took the boys to Col's lacrosse game and dropped a bunch of toys, gear, rugs, etc. off for the high school football team fundraiser nearby. Afterwards DH took Chase to the grocery store while I hacked away at the prickly bushes along the side of the yard while Col played and kept me company. Other than that, it's been laundry and chores, but I'm finally sitting down for a few minutes. I have a feeling that I will be napping when Chase goes down instead of working.

Also high! My grandparents celebrated their 86 & 93rd birthday today. Normally they pick a place about a hour a away by car, this time they picked a place that was a 30min bike ride away, which was awesome. The weather was lovely, the place had a great terras and lots of outdoor space for the kids to play. My sister made some great pics of us four and of the four generation of women (grandma, my mom, me & dd). Dh has guys night out & I’m waiting on my sushi delivery.

When I was a kid and got my first bike with hand breaks I went ass over teakettle over the front bars as I was going down the hill. I am not a fan anymore, but I will ride them if that’s what’s available. |

MH is working so hard on the deck, I can't wait to see it done. We need to do a decent amount of landscaping after so I'm starting to look into what we want!

I have a beach cruiser now but it isn’t good for long rides so I will likely get a road bike by next summer. Especially with C already doing long distances for his age. Dh used to be an avid rider and has a super expensive road bike so I envision us all on long rides in the future.
Mine is comfortable but so heavy and a bit clunky on turns. I prefer hand breaks and will sometimes get confused and then have to slam on the pedal ones.

Brunch was wonderful. We were there for almost four hours. Definitely got our moneys worth! When I got home the boys weren’t here so I laid down for an hour. I’m about to go out with C so he can ride his bike. I’m still too full to ride today.

News wasn’t bad. I yelled at my step mom for saying it like that. But what it was is that my dad is changing jobs and they are moving closer for the summer, so that’s nice.

I hate when people do that. My mom will call me in a super serious voice "am I on speaker phone? Can the boys hear me?" So I assume it's bad news about Grandma. Oh good trtlcrzy! I hate loaded phrases that are anxiety inducing. flamingo that is impressive for corn! My mom refuses to try grocery delivery bc she doesn't trust the produce will be good enough, so I'll have to use this example. I do think she will try it soon bc today I was in town for a kids party and said we'd come by and go get N a haircut. She decided to run to the grocery store during the haircut and then was sad that she missed out on spending time with us when I tried to drop her off.. we did go in and hang out for a bit, but I did tell her it's not as fun to visit when I'm an errand runner/driver while juggling kids and 6 mo pregnant. |

trtlcrzy I’m glad it wasn’t bad news. My father is like that. He texted me once “call me ASAP.” I was like “I’m at a party what’s wrong?” Then he was like oh never mind it can wait. Then of course I had to text my sisters to find out what was wrong because he already ruined the party for me by then.
