Morning. I was awoken to the sound of S starting to throw up. I was supposed to have a dentist appt this morning but I rescheduled because a friend was supposed to watch the girls and I didn’t want to spread this. She doesn’t have a fever so who knows what’s going on.

Here's a different kind of thunder for you peachsmama .  Sunny41 I hope the water levels go back down soon. vino oof I hope they pass soon for both of your sanity. Poor Mr. Vino. guster the stuff you were taught for your driver's test is insane. Was it taught by a Mario kart driver? What are you supposed to do if someone throws a banana peel in the road?  |

Had to call the recall people because their online form wasn't letting me submit. Apparently, even though I've already gotten the issue fixed I'll still have to take my car in again at the end of summer when the replacement parts they are currently making(stronger cable) is available to get it re-replaced because the current replacements are the same strength as the ones that are breaking. Awesome. BUT, I don't care, because it will all be free to me. So it's fine.

I hope it was a one-off trtlcrzy. Just work. Whomp whomp. AT TKD last night someone who comes to class on T&R was trying to convince me to join her yoga class on her off nights. She doesn't get it I need to punch my stress out not stretch it out. Some new guy tried out our class last night. I welcomed him afterward and he was nice but soooooo chatty. He wouldn't shut up. I feel like I should get a commission if he signs up. |

Morning. I was not productive with school work last night bc I was playing with chatbooks. Has anyone used them? Seems about my level of easy..I may try to make a few for Father's day. We had all day meetings the past few days, so it's nice to sit at my desk. My friend posted that she had extra David gray tickets for tonight at the cool new venue in town and I'm bummed I can't swing it. School work is due at midnight and no sitter...and I think she's not going so I'd actually need someone to go with, so would need a sitter. Womp womp. Total bummer. David Gray is probably my favourite artist, too bad you can't make it work. |

vino , ow! Did they say how long it will likely take to pass them?? apparently it's moved to his bladder, and the Dr said it should be within a couple days, FX that's correct. |

Last night the girls and I started watching Freaky Friday (90s Lilo and Jamie Lee Curtis version). We were all enjoying it. Dang Lilo is quite the example of wasted potential. It's a measure of how old I am when I watch these shows and identify with the parents more and more. Like poor King Triton with Ariel's nonsense.  |

Negative Nancy is getting on my last nerve. I can't with all this negativity. She went into the kitchen and someone asked if her kids had started summer break, she responded and then he started telling her about his son and having issues with his Spanish class. She comes back in here and starts bitching about not wanting to hear about his effing kids.
So I just said, "Stop."
What? Stop what? STOP WHAT?
I can't do this. She puts me in a miserable mood and I'm taking Excedrin every freaking day for the headaches she's giving me.

I took private driving lessons. There were only two driving schools in our area. I learned all the wrong things (always keep one wheel on the double yellow line, it doesn’t matter how fast you’re going around a curve because centrifugal force will keep you on track, if you’re stopped at the top of a hill, put 1 foot on the gas and 1 foot on the break to make a turn, etc.). MH didn’t believe me that these were things I was taught until he hung out with my group of high school friends who all basically had to unlearn the same things I did. I also am a self-proclaimed terrible driver (not just from the lessons). I’m far too slow, hate merging, and I’m generally nervous on highways. Lol, this is almost comical! Didn't you have to take a state test that would have caught some of these things? We had to do a computer test for our permit and then a driving test for license. i know! The road test was on this little rinky-dink area of the town. I learned all the basics – how to do a k-turn, parallel park, when to signal, but nothing that required anything ridiculous that he taught us. |
