chrisy01 glad you have some time off to look forward to. I was wondering with the new opening if you'd be involved in any of the insanity. My insanity is done. I programmed a lot of things for it. But we got to visit it last week. C was so excited.  |

OMG Boss M1 is going to kill me before I go back to my old team. He takes forever to do anything and then expects me to call in favors to make it happen. It’s not cool. He won’t involve me in the bigger projects unless there is a big problem, he doesn’t want to do it, or he’s so far behind he’s going to fail.
I want to let him fail but that’s going to hurt others more.

Also, I’m currently in our old neighborhood. I came to let M2 play on the playground and put the trash out. I give the keys to the new renters tomorrow. When I realized it was M2’s last time in the house we brought him home to, the emotions hit me. I kept it together though. It’s just a little bittersweet. You could tell he was excited when we pulled up and confused when we walked into an empty house. Blerg, that is sad. I'm a sap for this stuff though, so I'm impressed it's just hitting you now. Moving is hard😭 |

C still has a fever so I took him to the doctor. She said just a virus. When I told T this he replied “oh no, I know all about viruses. When they get in something, they take control and take it over. The virus is going to take over C!” lol, that's adorable, has he been watching Storybots? Nope, just watching his older brother play stuff he probably shouldn’t watch. |

Also hi. I had to stay late at work for our corporate awards so I'm still winding down. I got a ton done, both personally and at work, so I can't complain too much aside from missing the boys tonight.
Anyhow so I am no longer a Botox virgin! The nurse did a bit in my forehead and 11s and I go back in ~10 days to review the results and decide what's next. It didn't really hurt and I didn't bruise or react badly, so I'm excited to see what it looks like in a few days.

The 2 lines you get between your eyebrows. They look like an 11. |

ETA: today I was researching places to get laser hair removal in my new city. I’m just ready to bite the bullet and will most likely start in the next few months. Bye bye monies. |

The 11’s between your eyebrows give you that permanent angry face. The Botox relaxes the muscle so you don’t look mad all the time.
My 11’s are proving to be strong. The average dose is not touching them. It looks like I’ll have an expensive face.

I never really considered Botox. I do have deeper 11s when I narrow my eyes, but they’re not too bad with my every day face.
If they’re fine lines with the resting face, is there some kind of AB that would work well for me?

My dr told me peak result was 3 days but I swear I started seeing a difference on day 1–definitely by day 2 they were basically gone. Unfortunately for DH/my wallet, I love it. Mine weren’t too bad yet...mostly just noticeable when I was really tired or had been out in the sun. So I’m hoping by starting early I can kind of permanently relax that muscle, ha. |

If you want to amuse your children while simultaneously driving yourself insane tell Alexa (or on Amazon music) to play "cat." My kids discovered this one night when they were asking Alexa to play songs from random words. Does it make cat sounds? That is one of S’s favorite things. No, but you can ask Alexa to do that and a bunch of other animal sounds. It plays a song about a cat that is a pervasive ear worm and is totally ridiculous. My kids were really proud of their discovery. |
