Lol, they use pieces of hot dogs. That's a good idea easier than worms When I was little we used corn nibblets or balled up pieces of bread, but I don’t know if that’s bad for the fish or not. ETA: which saying it now sounds silly bc fishing is bad for the fish, but we always threw ours back.

TL; DR: If he's saying 'f' or 'd' for TH, you're probably fine to wait. B says TH as a hard 'g'; it's subtle, but there. That is very unusual. It definitely goes back to his tongue tie and he's going to have to learn how to bring his tongue to his teeth to make that sound, in my just-knowledgable-enough-to-be-dangerous opinion R & L are typically later-developing sounds, and he has trouble with both those but that is within the range of 'normal' at this age. So the pedi and I agreed that we could wait 6 months and see, but then we're well into K and 5 months out from moving. I'd rather have him evaluated now and hopefully if he needs therapy it will be done by the time we leave here. A friend was mentioning its good to have 504 plans/ evals done before moving because it will transfer rather than waiting on another eval and plan to be put in place. I think she said places like to have 1 every year. Of course that is in state. So it sounds like a good time to have a plan. Right. We are opting to pursue thru private therapy vs. the school system so thankfully that will be one less thing to deal with. His pediatrician said he likely wouldn't even qualify for therapy thru the school b/c in our area they have to meet a certain threshold %-wise and he's not there, in her opinion.

Oh also, I offered money and she declined it so I will have to reciprocate this super fun day at some point. Good thing the bar is low...

Congrats on the clean audit, wedding!! How are you holding up, tgrimes? TMI ahead My right side won’t stop bleeding. I hit a bump on the road on the way to pick up the kids that dislodged the clot again, so that was fun to get them with a mouth full of blood. It’s happened several times since then. Now both sides are throbbing and I’m barely able to eat Mac & cheese. I’ll take some Tylenol before bed. I should have asked my MIL for good drugs over the weekend.

tgrimes could you call your dentist for a stronger pain med? Even prescription ibuprofen or something? If it doesn't stay clotted, you could get dry sockets. I'd stay away from any kind of food that could get up there. Like just clear liquids. Hope it's better in the morning.
