Good morning!
I fell asleep nice and early last night. I had taken off the socks I was wearing and put them next to my pillow in case I got cold in the middle of the night. Around one, I rolled over and the socks grazed my face. They’re fuzzy so I assumed it was small animal and screamed, woke mh up, and couldn’t get back to sleep for almost an hour.

Bad night here too. Dd was up between 22.00 & 02.00... she still has a fever today so I assume that why. Lots of packing for the weekend and a few hours at the office today to make up for leaving early yesterday.

Morning. I didn’t sleep great because I went to bed with horrible sciatic pain that kept me tossing and turning. Hoping I can get into the chiro this morning.

Nothing else on the agenda today. Probably cleaning and hopefully a bike ride to the park if my hip and leg feel better.

I have a vendor in town from Texas today, so that will consume most of my day. Our CEO invited me to a Royals game next Tuesday with upper management and the board of directors. I don't want to go, but I don't have a good excuse. I haven't even talked to H about it yet, but I guess I should. It's just dumb, like, let my evenings be my time.

I have a morning of back to back meetings starting in 10mins. I am tired as well. Between my sunburnt shins and a bug bite on my hip and my usual insomnia, it was a rough one. Tonight is C's stripe test so I am leaving at 4. I'm contemplating trying to leave earlier to catch the 3:45 class so it doesn't take our whole night but I'm not sure I can get out of here by 2:45 and C may be pissed if I get him earlier. I just need like one more hour in the evenings and it would be so easy. I can't wait for baseball to be done in a few weeks so DH can start doing one of the karate days again.

Hi! Work yesterday was interesting. Not at all what I expected. I am trying to finish up all the things before my week off but my boss keeps giving me more things.

Also I have a spring/summer cold thanks to LO.

Hello! I'm at work. I was worried A was getting sick because we could NOT get him to bed last night. Took a good 2.5 hours which is very very unlike him. Luckily MH said he seems fine today so he must have just wanted to party it up.

Yeah we are. It’s a 4 hour drive, so not to bad, but my kid don’t travel much in cars, so we’ll see how it goes...

Waiting at the ob. Then I have a ton of work to do since I did zip yesterday.

Took H to the ENT. The hole in his left ear has already closed up and there’s lots of fluid behind the eardrum. The right ear has a tiny hole, lots of dried blood, but it looks fine. He suctioned out his nose and gave us a prescription for augmentin.

The lab couldn’t do the testing on his tube because they said it wasn’t in a proper container. 🙄

I don’t even know. The ENT used the same container as when they do the cultures.

We go back to the ENT in a month. In the meantime, I’m going to try and get an appt with an infectious disease immunologist. That will probably be at least 3 months out.

I have another hour to kill before I get my wisdom teeth pulled.

AFM, just trying to work myself and kiddos back into a routine after having been away on back to back trips.
Amazingly, B’s face is starting to look better. I cancelled her appt w the ophthalmologist bc she’s been able to close her eye again. I’m hopeful everything will look back to normal in a few weeks. We have 3 weeks left on the abx.

I’m glad you’ve got a plan going forward, tgrimes,but I wish it wouldn’t take so long. Hopefully a cancellation will pop up soon or perhaps the ENTwill see the need to share H’a information with the infectious immunologist, so you can get in sooner.
Also, I didn’t know you were having a wisdom tooth pulled. I hope it goes smoothly.

I had Novocain and laughing gas for all four of mine and somehow thought I could drive home. The gas really did me in, and I could barely walk to the waiting room. I had to call my dad to come pick me up. I think I was 25.
