We were supposed to go to the zoo today but a lots of schools are still off for MDW so we’re postponing.
No plan otherwise. I have new curtains and some paintings I want to hang in the living room but mh is still frosty so I might wait on asking him.

Morning! Back to work for me. peachsmama not sure how close you are to Dayton, but I hope you all are safe! They're predicting severe weather here this afternoon. I'm meeting a bunch of my cousins and aunts for lunch today. My mom is supposed to be bringing Evie, although she developed a bad cough over the weekend, so I told my mom if she isn't sounding good, to keep her home because I don't need her getting her younger cousins sick. My cousin from Atlanta leaves tomorrow. She's the easiest house guest, but I am ready to have my house back to myself...you know, run around naked in the morning with the door to my bathroom open. |

mwhip according to all the news posts on Facebook, the town just above Dayton got hit with 2 tornadoes last night!

Washed my sheets and duvet and had a glorious new sheet sleep, only to wake up this morning and find that one of the cats had puked on it. Awesome. Looks like I get another new sheet night tonight. 🤬

Morning! MH is back to work and C back to school. When we pick him up we will probably go to the park. My sister and nieces will be coming over later since L and my oldest niece have ballet today!

His fever is gone. He still eating crappy. We’re heading out for the weekend with my parents and sisters (it’s my parents 40 year dating anniversary, they’re not married, old hippies 😉). Hopefully that will provide some much needed distraction for all of us. I really hate myself as a parents when it comes to me interacting with ds about food. |

Morning! Back to normal schedule today. It looks sunny and nice out but it’s cool and supposed to rain off and on all day. I need to clean up my house after working 3 days in a row. Apparently DH and the girls don’t know how to pick up after themselves. I might be watching a friend’s kids this afternoon but she hasn’t confirmed so I guess we will see. I have to work again this evening.

nam2013 have you considered posting on GD? I know there are a lot of moms there that have struggled with their kids eating habits. I know some range from sensory issues to physical strength issues.

Not really, tbh. The pace is so different there. It scares me a little. I know it isn’t a tactile or a physical thing. It’s a behavioural thing. Lately we were making baby steps, he tried a bite of a grilled cheese sandwich, licked a piece of chicken, eats apple with peanut butter, speeding up his pace etc. But it’s back to square one for now. I know it will improve, it’s just a long and tedious proces. |

Big storms this morning, but cleared up for water play for the kids at least..not excited for packing water play stuff 2x a week for the rest of the summer.
I forgot to thank my sis for a book about going to k that she sent up with my mom last week and she asked my mom if j got it. So now I'm nervous she is annoyed I'm ungrateful. She gave it to him when I wasnt around and read it to him..I just noticed it on the couch late last night. Why do I get such anxiety about if she is pissed? I guess I'll read it tonight and send a pic or something.
Also have tball and then a team meeting tonight. Blerg.

Morning all
Been super busy this past week and haven't been posting, but been reading along.
Last week was K orientation, ENT and allergist for B, etc. One of B's tubes is clogged and they might need to remove and re-install it which should be fun since he did not do well with the anesthesia last time. His allergist agreed with me that he thinks B has a severe lactose intolerance. We are now on day 9 with minimal dairy (we did a few days of none, then gradually introduced some in the form of yogurt and pizza. No Milk or Ice Cream). He has been doing great!
Otherwise, not much to report. Busy weekend. MH was gone last week and home for 24 hours Sunday afternoon - Monday afternoon before he left again.
Went to a BBQ last night that the boys had a blast at. It was 7 kids age 2.5 - 6, so perfect for my kids. And bonus - the boys slept amazing last night from all the running around!
