Hi! Just hanging around the house today for a family BBQ. Food is cooking and people are arriving.
MH got a call about a job that he should be very interested in, but we just BOUGHT a house, I just accepted a job offer, and the movers are coming Thursday. Not today/not this year satan. It’s not anything life changing, so I doubt we will do anything about it, but it is pretty tempting.

It’s a beautiful day today. DS1 had an 8am hockey game and has another at 7pm. DH went to the early one and I’m going to the late one. T had tball at 1 and DD has soccer at 2 and 4. I’m currently home with the boys so C can nap. We will go to the 4:00 game since I missed more than half of her games since DH is the coach.
Tomorrow is my dad’s birthday. I refused to buy one of those best dad ever cards this year after the shit he pulled. I have discovered there is a serious hole in the greeting card market for the kind of card I was looking for so maybe I can start my own business. Like “you were an ok dad when you were not banging your best friend’s wife.”

I'm not sure who's happiest about having a baby in the house. Me, flash or the boys lol. But her mom forgot her formula and isn't answering her phone.... 45 minutes until her next feeding. God help me.  |

Tball was fine and then my great idea to go to REI backfired. Mh ended up buying out Uniqlo while I got the kids sbux, and then n was out of control at REI so I didn't get to hear the bike guys recommendations even though I've been the one doing all the research. My friend didn't confirm she was up for our scooter date til 3, but I ended up requesting we reschedule because I am too tired and kids are pooped.

It ended up not raining at all today. I worked on my front flower bed, including going to the store for more mulch and a few more plants to finish it up. I’m glad I can put a check mark on one project out there. The ground is way too moist to remove sod so I didn’t get any of that done but I did get some plants planted by the back and side of my house. I told H I would take them to a museum this afternoon but by the time I was finished, showered and we were all ready it was basically too late. We are now at a park instead. It’s chilly and I am regretting not bringing myself a jacket.

I’m totally winning tonight. I’m alone with DS1. I never get to come to his games alone which means I never actually watch him because I’m always chasing the little ones. We are also like 45 minutes away and I told him we will stop for dinner after the game so everyone else should be in bed before I get home.

When my sister was pregnant with #4 her oldest was only 4 (she also had twin 2 year olds at the time) and he asked if they could give the baby to aunt P. He said she needed a baby to love and they had enough. 😂 |

kim22 lolz. I'm laughing at the card. I'm sorry. I know the situation sucks. There was never anything that fit for my dad over the years. Or even my stepdad for that matter. I always thought "I think you're a decent, and certainly at least mediocre stepdad, but let's not go crazy with best."

We had a full day but it was fun. We stopped at the Toyota dealership on a lark but I was able to decide what I want for my next car. Knocked a few off my list and I'll get the Rav-4 Hybrid. They don't have any incentives now and I refuse to buy a car without a good deal. I'm in no rush. I might even wait as far as next fall. But I'll be watching for deals.

We went bowling and to dinner with my mom, sil and nephews. On the way home A said he just wanted to relax on the couch and catch up on our shows. Then he decides he'll take a "quick bike ride" I had to force him to at least get the boys down before he left. That was 2 hours ago.. I'm pissed.

My niece got engaged yesterday! There hasn’t been a family wedding since ours on DH’s side and that will be 13 years ago next month so I’m excited.

Morning!
Super busy yesterday— lots of outdoor stuff. Josie is still on her super grouchy streak and Charlie started an antibiotic for a sinus infection, but I think the sunshine-y busy day helped them function yesterday.
More outdoor stuff today (planting those strawberries and trying to finish up the pool), I need a manicure and to stop at Aldi for something fun for dinner.

Morning! I ran and lifted, and DH was gone to pickup donuts by the time I got out of the shower. The kids are still asleep or at least quiet in their rooms, so I'm going to enjoy a few minutes to myself.
We have Col's lacrosse at 9 and we need to grocery shop, but that's about it. We'll probably get in a lot of outside play and maybe a walk on the trail. DH threw out going out for pizza at a local place with a decent beer list and outdoor seating, so it should be a nice day!
