Good Morning!!

Morning. I’m so tired. S woke numerous times last night freaking out and ripping the mask off her face like she was the Hulk. The last time was 4:30 and she wouldn’t go back to sleep after that so they unhooked her and sent us on our way.

She also spiked a fever in the middle of the night. She was shivering and I thought she was just cold so I loaded her up with more blankets. But at 4:30 she was burning up.

So basically it was a shit show. Currently stopped for a caffeine fix, then headed home.

Nothing much here...just work. H has softball tonight, it's the first time he's played in a few weeks, so I'm excited he won't be home. Which also means I don't have to cook dinner!

I have an OB appointment and I have to stop and get my TDAP shot on the way. It was my homework at my last appointment.. Oops. The boys are fighting already. Good luck to the sitter today.

Also I mentioned last night to A about going to the animal shelter to look at kitties but he "doesn't want a cat right now" I'm annoyed. I wish people still dropped them at our farm all the time so I could just claim one or two.

Obviously I'm glad people aren't actually abandoning cats as often- at least not out here. But I want a cat..

peachsmama, just do what I do. Go anyway and bring one home. Once it's home, he won't say no. I keep sending mh pictures of a dog that are at the shelter. I told him I might take Cadence to pet the dogs this weekend. He told me not to get too attached. I told him I do what I want.

So they were talking about new dress code rules for our school district. They will now be allowing girls to wear spaghetti strap shirts, shorter skirts and shorts as well as ripped jeans. Whatever, I'm fine with that. It's freaking hot here and it wasn't fair to them since the boys were allowed more leniency. So they are talking to parents and one lady said she didn't like the new rules and her daughter won't be wearing that stuff to school. Cool. It really doesn't matter what the school rules are if they are different in your home. Your child has to abide by your dress code first(if you have one).
So then they talk to a Dad who says, "I don't care what they wear so long as it isn't a distraction for my son."...um, how about you teach your son not to ogle the girls or pay attention to their clothes in the first place. Teach him proper manners and it won't be a "distraction" for him.

So, then I come to work and I'm talking to Smokey the Secretary and telling her these new rules and she's all, "Why would they allow them to dress like that? They are just asking to get raped."
uh....WTF? No one ASKS to get raped you psycho. I ended the conversation at that point because I couldn't endure any more ridiculousness that she would spit out.

Tubes are out. One of them was almost out anyway and the other was partially back in his eardrum. The ent wasn’t sure if he’d be able to get it out or not.

They’re sending the tube off to be tested. We go back in 2 weeks.

Morning! I got my swim in this morning and now I'm working from home trying to get some writing done. Today I have to order food and get the cake for grad party tomorrow and hopefully get out for a girls night drink.

I had my physical therapy appointment yesterday...it was awkward. Just the subject in general, then I was unaware there would be a physical exam.

Basically, I probably have to quit running and find other exercise. I hate running anyway, but it wasn't what I was hoping to hear.

did they give you exercises mwhip ? to try and improve the muscles before giving up running?

Oh that is rage inducing klong11! I quickly end conversations like that promptly as well, they're so stuck in their narrow minded opinions.

I listen closely to these conversations and situations because teaching B about personal space is one of the most important life lessons i can give him. Recently there was a boy at daycare that told B to 'hug 'girl' and then touch her bum'. He promised B a new cell phone if he did it. B turned him down and told him no, and walked away. I think it happened a few days before he told me about it, but we had a really good discussion and I praised him that he understood it was wrong. I related it to himself and his personal space and also Julia's because he loves his sister more than anything in the world. I always have this perception of B that he's passive but I'm so happy that he's strong willed when it matters.

My uterus is trying to kill me today, I was up from 3-4.15am this morning with killer cramps, I took a couple pills, chugged some water and fell asleep with a heating pad on my stomach. Because I had the heating pad Pete laid on top of me cause he loves the warmth, god I love that cat.

No exercises this week, I go back next Thursday for a re-eval.  So one of my issues is that my pelvic muscles are always tense.  She hooked me up so we could measure (this is as awkward as it sounds) and most people, resting, measure around a 2-3.  I was around a 10 resting.  When she asked me to squeeze the muscles, I have good tone and go well over 30, which she said most people she sees with this issue can't do that, but I have no endurance to last.  She thinks it might be because my muscles are always on, so when I need them to work, they're worn out.  So for this week, I'm supposed to regularly do a body scan and make sure I'm not tensing them up.

I mean, I can't feel it, I don't know I'm doing it.  I know I carry stress weird, but never realized I carry it in that region!

And the 'probe' that she measure me with...it's all mine!  It's in a baggie in my purse for my next visit.  I can't wait until Evie comes across it and asks me about it.  She'll probably do it in Target or some shit.

So do we just leave them out for now and schedule new ones when the results come back?

cagoldi What eye cream and face mask do you use for your Korean routine?  I've got everything else lined up but am missing these two and it's so overwhelming to choose one.
