Would anyone here would be interested in taking this class with me and discussing here? It's free through Harvard EdX and I thought it sounded super fun! It's self-guided, so there's no pressure or timeline really. They also have other politically themed classes that might be cool to check out. www.edx.org/course/women-making-history-ten-objects-many-stories

I'm interested. I'm trying to snag an adjunct gig teaching history right now, so this would be an awesome refresher. (and interesting topic).

I’m possibly interested. How does it work? Is it watching recorded lectures?

I’m possibly interested. How does it work? Is it watching recorded lectures? I actually signed up for another course as well, and this is what the introduction says. I assume they're all a little different, though. This course is self-paced, so you can learn when it suits you. Each section includes new learning videos, discussions, quizzes, and interactive elements. Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to engage in learning activities, and engage in the discussion forum. Videos are 1-7 minutes long, and include instructional videos, interviews, animations, speech readings and student performances. Quizzes offer a chance for you to check your understanding of key concepts and information in the learning. These offer immediate feedback and your overall score will continue to grow as you progress through the course. Discussions are often the key to success, and therefore we have a number of discussions throughout the course. Your participation in each discussion will contribute to your overall grade. We encourage you to engage regularly in the discussion forum by answering and responding in the discussion topics within each section. In Section 5 we have included an assignment which will allow you to put together all of your learning throughout the course. To keep the course fun and engaging, we have included interactive activities, and have provided further resources, where appropriate.

I am enrolled. misspatty what other course did you sign up for? www.edx.org/course/shakespeare-mattersIt's not politics related so I'm not sure it belongs on this board... but if anyone wants to join me, let me know! I'm ridiculously excited about it.

I've completed the first object lesson in the women's history course, when do we get to discuss? :-) It's a slow day at work here.

That's what I was hoping to do as well. Sounds like a plan to me!
