wedding I had a dream I was at your house for Christmas, just me. You gave C a present that was a box of toys that he had failed to pick up the night before and I thought it was a brilliant idea. You also kept bringing me coffee.

Morning. We tried to instapot a bunch of the chicken that was half defrosted but it kind of smelled and I got grossed out, so annoyed wasting food😣. J said he didn't want to sign up for soccer again this summer at school, which was surprising since he seemed to love it..turns out he hates that the coach calls him Mr. baseball, most likely bc it's the same day as tball and normally wears his hat or a baseball shirt that day. His teacher feels awful and will take care of it.
Last night we got to tball at 5:59 and no one was there. I check my email at there was a cancellation email at 5:52. I had to leave my office at 4:30 to get us there, so I was not pleased to say the least. Mostly bc it was sunny out. J handled it the best, n screamed, and I was just tired.

I replied back the immunologist's message so i could "gently remind him" that this will be H's 3rd set of tubes. This is his response:
I understand. My impression is that the tubes are colonized. Let's see what Dr. Albright thinks. Like you, my focus is on what's best for Hayden.
I don't have any strong evidence that Hayden has an immune impairment thankfully.

It's one of the questions I have for the ENT. Right after the 2nd set he had a double EI. He was snotty when we he put the tubes in but didn't currently have an infection. That was a Tuesday and by Saturday he had fluid gushing out both ears. Then we were good for 1.5 months. Another question I have is if the tubes are colonized, would that cause him to be snotty, as well? Because to me it seems like he gets a cold and then it goes to his ears within 5 days. I don't know enough about the immune system and/or deficiencies to know whether I should keep pressing for me tests to be run. KWIM? |

Morning.
Busy work day here; reports to wrap up, meetings and a lunch date with a few cross govt peers that I meet with that is formally called a 'personal advisory board', it's to network and brainstorm solutions to any issues we're facing. I was super hesitant at first but they've been a really great sounding board, given good advice and helped me with my resume, so now I look forward to meeting with them.
Soccer tonight and it's our night to brings snacks, half a watermelon and strawberries are what we have in the fridge so that's what they're getting.

It was an outside nature center walk, but I met one of the moms from our home district, so that was helpful! |

tgrimes were his antibody tests like the Iga, igm, and igg normal? I don’t remember but Dr google has me asking. Let me know if I’m being annoying. I’m sure you have searched the world by now but i figured its worth a look.

Morning! Guess I'm officially an #old...I have glass on the (wood) tabletops in my family room now. Somebody put me out of my misery if I start leaving the cellophane wrapping on lampshades. No school tomorrow b/c it's parent-teacher conferences, so I'm trying to get stuff done today. I think I'm going to take the kids out to lunch and to the zoo after my meetings tomorrow. tallb Other than the last-minute cancellation (so annoying), how is baseball going? I wondered if B would miss it, but so far he hasn't mentioned it, and is laser-focused on golf. |

Day 2 of conference. My crew stayed out so late last night. Ugh. I'm tired. We had fun though.
Maddie got to have the key turning expander thing removed from her mouth yesterday so she's thrilled. Cass had fun at K info night.

tgrimes I was asking yesterday about the mouth issue from a while ago because i was wondering if maybe there is something in his sinus/ear/nasal cavity that is causing him to get infections and that it might be related. I obviously have no clue about these things and i wish the drs would investigate everything at this point.
