Hey! It’s a beautiful day here. H had school this morning and while she was there S and I ran a bunch of errands. I’m currently cooking my lunch, then after I’m done eating I plan to get outside and do some more yard work. I have work tonight and that’s my day.

I'd just hate to spend money on taking them out, just to have to spend money again to put them back in. KWIM? Yeah, you’re right. Better to do it all at once. I think y'all underestimate how cheap I really am.  |

MH is gone again, and he did not do anything nice like peachsmama's H to make up for mother's day. So I'm still annoyed. I just got back from meeting my old work BFF for lunch (her new job isn't too far). kim22 we met at the Zinburgers in your town. I remember you said you haven't been... you should go, it's delicious! I recommend the zucchini fries (but they are definitely shareable sides) slenle how are you adjusting to staying at home? |

Did check in? I know I commented but it’s been a day. Josie is solidly in a grouchy state. If this is any indication of the teenage years , I’m going to need something much stronger than coffee on the daily.

lahdeedah congrats on the offer and that sounds like the perfect job for settling into a new town. tgrimes I have no words. I feel like H’s case needs to be presented at a conference for ENT’s and they all need to come up with something. When the hospital overdosed me after my daughter was born, I was a big presentation that changed postpartum care for a whole big chain of hospitals.

slenle how are you adjusting to staying at home? It’s going well, thanks for asking! It’s been so busy, I feel like I don’t have time to check in as much. By the time I finish reading, I’m needed for something and don’t get a chance to post. The kids are just about finished with their mandatory 1 hour quiet time.. because of course, h refuses to nap now. But he’s been doing good staying in his room until the sand timer is done. I’m going to drop them off at my sisters in a few while i get a hair cut and color. I’m just so glad the weather is finally cooperating and it’s been nice out the last few days. Aaaaand now he’s banging on his door because the timer is up. I’ll check back in later tonight! |

jewels did you see the crazy lady with the toddler scratching her face as she attempted to put him in his car seat in front of Carters at that shopping center? That was me around 1 pm today. I have been to Zinberger now. Let me know if you want to meet up one day.

Hi. I don’t think I checked in today. Stupid day today. I lost my phone on my way to work, but didn’t realise it untill later. I couldn’t find it, thought I just left it at home, my boss saw my unease and send me home to go fetch it. When I came home there was a not from someone staying the found it and that I could pick it up. The screen is cracked, but as you can see, it’s still working. Now I just need to find a new phone 😖.

tgrimes, I just don't get it! I have also had a few Dr's that didn't read the file so I do wonder if they are forgetting about the first set of tubes. I just can't imagine the toll this is taking on you. It's bad enough to have a kid that's sick but then to have to deal with the not knowing and the financial aspect... Ugh! You are an amazing mom for continuing to push here. wineallthetime, I hope C feels better and you have an easy flight.

I've been at work since the butt crack of dawn. C had a dentist appointment and I delegate dentistry and speech to DH so I didn't have to drop off this morning. It was nice. When I pick him up we have a Target trip planned. He will get his last set of Pokemon cards for a while. They are only like $5 but its adding up and he is so freaking spoiled. DH is working late tonight so its my DVR/pizza night. I can't wait. Then I am teleworking tomorrow to get caught up on paperwork before our audit next week. It will be nice to be alone.

wedding S is obsessed with those pokemon cards too. Do you understand them? I do not. He always wants to "play" them with me. So we basically play a war-like game with them where the higher point value wins the game. But I recently actually read one and it looks like there is some detailed rules.

We had a good time at evies field trip. She is such a different kid than when she started preschool.
Her teacher pulled me aside and asked if evie wanted to do a month of summer school, she was only asking a few of the kids that she really enjoys. It's just 2 days a week for 2.5 hours. She is so excited about it.
We then went to a landscaping place and got some flowers and weed and feed for my crappy yard, then I mowed and applied the stuff for weeds and we put the flowers in pots. Finally sitting down and catching up on survivor.
