Hi!! Super busy day at work. M1 actually started giving me work. If he would have done this from day 1 we might not be where we are today. LO is still being a brat. R is happy but she hasn’t popped much, I’m hoping she poops soon so it doesn’t wake her up.

I was painting my toe nails red, in my bedroom. Spilled nail polish on my carpet 😡. I got it about 85% better, but you can definitely still see it.

Its 4am. I woke up to pee but now I can hear a beeping sound and can not figure out what i6f is. A says he cant hear it.. I'm not crazy. Theres a freaking beeping! I cant sleep.

We had 2 companies come by to look at our deck and give us quotes. The main support beams are rotten, which we knew, but a huge majority of it is rotten as well. The 1st guy said he'd send me a quote. The 2nd guy worked up a quote while here...$40,000. I laughed, like, that's a new damn car! He worked some numbers and got it down to $35,000 and said he'd wait outside while we discussed. I told him there was no point, I was not prepared to make that kind of financial decision tonight. He left in a huff. 40k??? How big is this deck??? 10x14! Sunny41 I found this company through home advisor. The reviews there were great. Afterward, I looked on Yelp and seems everyone had a similar experience to us. |

mwhip a deck should not cost more than a brand new car! When the sales guy was giving us pricing and what monthly payments would be, I kept thinking...this is more than I pay for a brand new jeep monthly. I would have to sleep on it! |

Holy crap to that quote mwhip! When we were shopping around for a new deck the quotes were all over the place, it was crazy and totally unexpected. What really helped me was going to Home Depot to the deck design counter; you give them all the dimensions, amount of stairs etc, the product you’d choose (composite vs wood), they’ll give you a price for all materials; wood, nails, railings etc. I used that as a benchmark for materials and then had a better idea of what the company’s were quoting for the labour. |
