I need to just put this out there somewhere, so feel free to join me if you're around.
We just moved and I am finally seeing the end of the must open boxes. Considering I can't live in survival mode forever with 4 kids, I decided to sit down and really look at our schedule this week. I kinda wish I hadn't at this point. Why do people want to plan everything for the last month of school? We have choir concerts, family picnics, and ice cream socials every night this week. DH and I are going to need to divide and conquer, because this is crazy. I am also cramming in my continuing ed credits for two of my licenses (stupid, stupid, stupid, I should have done this over the winter!). We have a few items being installed yet this week (dryer, playset and getting the garage door serviced). I am completely overwhelmed. I feel like once this is done I won't even know what to do with all my free time.
So far to manage all this I have the schedule written out to the hour for the next week, I ordered Hello Fresh for dinner and plan on picking up some easy meals from Costco. Anytime I can have two things going at once I am doing that. Last night that meant folding 2 weeks worth of laundry while watching my CE videos. Right now dishes are washing while I study and the kids are playing at the Y so hopefully they will take a nap this afternoon.
How do you manage crazy weeks? What are you tricks to getting everywhere and everything done?
