One of DS's newest things is when we ask him to bring us something or ask him for a hug and a kiss at bedtime, he'll say "coming right up!"
I may have also accidentally taught him to say "Ghostbusters!" when I ask "who you gonna call?"

DD is really into saying whether something is "mama's" or "baby's" Like, she points to my coffee cup and says "Mama wawa" and then to her milk cup saying "baby wawa"
I also taught her to stay "I stuck!" when she can't climb onto something or can't get up. She loves it, but sometimes she drops the T and just ends up yelling "I suck!!" over and over.

Yesterday she (20m) tried to spoonfeed bread to one our cats. She also headbutts them, in a gentle, cat-headbutting way. She's done that to us too, actually.

Lately he's been saying "Yay! you did it mama!" Whenever I do something, like move his chair, or glue something, or finish cutting vegetables.

DS was making loud noises that sounded like he was crying around 5am. When I went in to check on him, he sat up, looked at me and said, "I just getting comfortable, mommy. I want to go back to sleep," and then he just flopped back down.

V has been getting more into imaginative play lately, and it's too adorable. He has his lovey, Doggie, do things with us: brush teeth, open the door, eat, etc. We also play "sleep" a lot. He makes me lay down and covers me up and says "night mommy". I did an exaggerated fake snore once, and now he does it and says "mama sleep!" and makes me do the noise.
On a side note, it is a bit ironic that my kid, who hates sleeping and does so poorly, likes to play sleep. It's like he's trolling me.

This morning I went to get the baby from her crib when she started crying. Found DS had climbed up the side of the crib and was saying to her "It's ok! You don't need to cry! Here, hold my hand!"
😍😍😍😍😍😍

I asked her to find my belly button because I had lost it. She pulled my shirt up and poked me in the belly button. So I reacted really over-the-top with crazy laughter and she was delighted. Her laugh makes my heart smile.
So she kept poking me like the Doughboy and I kept laughing. Then she got all weird about it and just kept her finger in there like a creep.

I caught her singing twinkle, twinkle little star by herself. She was doing the motions and singing well enough that I figured out what she was singing. Then she got made when I joined in, but it was still cute. That's so cute! I did not know there were motions to that song. I think I need to go back to preschool. lol.

We were in the backyard today and a big bird landed on the path. DD was excited and ran towards it and, of course, it flew away.
She was so disappointed and ran after it yelling "Birdie! Come back. I want to kiss you!"
It was so adorable.

We don't Wiggle or Yo Gabba Gabba, we watch Mother Goose Club on Netflix. For the longest time DS2 would only watch the first episode and cry when it went off. It made me crazy.

DD loves my belly button and is constantly poking it. I tell her, "that's mama's belly button, where's yours?" Then I show her etc.
The other morning when she started poking mine, I asked her what it was. She very seriously told me that it's a 'bell bunny' 😅

She climbs into a bed, covers herself up, then pats the pillow next to her to invite me to join her for snuggle time. I couldn't make this up. It's just the best.
She's also started helping pick up her toys before nap time and bedtime. It's slower but sometime she does it without prompting. She definitely did not inherit her father's genes in the cleaning department.

DS2 is obsessed with petting things. He asked if he could pet one of the little girls at his doctor's office yesterday.

Spoiler: he was only allowed to pet the dog.

She now gives hugs and kisses and whispers "night" to like every toy she has in the living room before laying them down on their side. We had a lot of stuffed toys out of the bin today, maybe 15 of them, and we did this for every single one. It was presh.
She's started a rock collection on a low windowsill in the backyard. She brought me two rocks a couple of weeks ago and I put them there and said she could put her collection there for safekeeping. A couple of days later H pointed out the probably 20-25 rocks on the windowsill that I hadn't noticed yet. Kid works fast. Hashtag future geologist.
