We've been visiting my parents and DD has to give both of their dogs a kiss before bed.

There's a full size mirror in our bedroom. DD loves running up to it and giving big kisses to "the other baby."

We were leaving daycare yesterday and DD turns to DCP and says "Bye, I really need to go. I have SO much work to do!"
DCP asked her what work she had?
DD said "Oh, so much playing. Playing with my babies!"

DS loves to hug his dogs, and any dog that he meets. He tried to hug his cat, but it usually ends in him tackling her. Both are cute
He also likes soft things and will lay down on them and rub his face in them (blankets, stuffed animals, etc)

Lately DS likes to climb behind me on the couch, hug me from behind, and say "I got you!"

I was reminded of this one tonight. DH does bath/pajamas/story then i get called in to nurse and put BH to sleep.
Lately he runs to the chair before me, sits down and lifts his shirt so I can pretend to nurse (I usually just tickle his belly) first. Then he climbs down and says "mama turn."

My mom asked my boy if he wanted hard plastic lizards or stretchy lizards (he has stretchy frogs that he loves at their house so she was going to buy another set). He picked stretchy lizards so she used her iPad to put them in her amazon cart to check out later. Next thing you know he's half way up the stairs that lead to their office. She asks where he is going. "I turn lights on. Come order stretchy lizards now grandma." He's a piece of work. So strong willed.

billyhorrible I thought of this in the Fathers Day thread but then forgot it and just remembered it when I saw you in here but Etsy has daddy/child shirts that say pint and half pint since you said you might get him a beer shirt. They're pretty cute.

When DD asks so sweetly "Can you cuddle for a little bit please" at bedtime. How can I say no to that? Answer: I can't.
Seeing DS copy DD when they are playing is also so adorable. They get so excited and the giggles are just omgsocute.

DS loves all small things. When he sees something small or a baby, he says "aw so tiny" in a little baby voice. I love it.

I usually sit next to my 18mo at dinner (he is in a booster seat and I help him). But lately my 3yo keeps asking for me to sit next to her. Lats night I go to sit next to her and my 18-mo old is saying "mama, sit!" and pointing to the chair next to him.
I am writing this post as a puddle on the floor. <3

DD2 is 17 months and when not tantruming, this is such a cute age. She learned how to say "button" and is constantly going around lifting up her shirt to show her puppy belly and say "BUTT-ehn".

DD2 (18 months) now throws kisses as soon as anyone says bye. They are long drawn out with the mwah!
She has also started wanting to hug all the kids her age.

M is really big on hi and bye right now. She even says bye to rooms and objects as we leave or I tell her to say night night. It's so adorable.

C, my 3.5 year old, has discovered the art of "sweet-talk". Example "mommy, can I have a chocolate, because you love me?"

BH keeps pretending he's a puppy. Complete with doing tricks for "treats." (Usually something off our dinner plates. And yes I know we're creating a bad habit of begging at the table.)

Today DS brought over some lotion and said, "we need to put lotion on the baby!" (he calls my pregnancy bump the baby) He then proceeded to gently massage the lotion on my bump, put my shirt down, and said, "there you go baby!" 😍

DS1 tells me he loves me to the moon and back every day. And he told me I'm his princess. He also knows I love the live action Cinderella, so the other day when I was teasing his dad about going out, A said "it's okay mommy we can watch Cinderella and eat popcorn". He melts my heart
DS2 learned how to tell us his age. We go "how old are you?" And he responds "I two" and holds up his pointer and thumb in a gun shape. So cute. He also sticks out his lower lip in a pout and goes "I mad". It's hilarious.

We're trying to teach him how to "thumbs up". But he just holds up his index finger, it's pretty funny.

DD helps me unload the dishwasher and dryer. She grabs things one by one and holds them up to me and yells "Mama here! Here mama!"

One of DS's favourite activities is helping me load and unload the dryer. He always describes how "this is so wet! And we're going to make it nice and dry!" I hope he always loves doing laundry.

A couple weeks ago I went into the boys' room to get them up and ready for the day. It was a Saturday morning so I was still in my pajamas. I typically sleep in pajama pants and tshirt but it was one of the first warm nights of the year so I had a pajama dress/nightie on (like a long tank top, nothing fancy). FS1's eyes got really big when he saw me, and he said "Mommy, I love your dress! You look like a princess!" 😍😂
