Taitai, here is the recipe for cookie dough truffles, let me know if you can't read my sloppy handwriting and I can type it all out. You don't have to make pops, you can just use a fork for dipping instead if you want.

jewel, DS had cradle cap super bad when he was a baby, I never saw a specific shampoo for it, I always just or some coconut oil on and that helped. He's had a few flare ups as a toddler also, though less noticeable now that he actually has hair. It's nothing to worry about - I think his doctor noticed it at the 15 or 18 month check up and commented on it, bit that it's of no concern.

V had the worst meltdown we've ever experienced tonight. We were getting in the car after leaving the grocery store and he wouldn't sit so I could strap him in. I tried distracting him, giving him things to hold, doing a lap around the car and trying again, and he would just continue to be completely rigid and screaming no. After 10 minutes, I finally just had to force him into the seat. He screamed and cried (and gagged and nearly puked) the whole car ride home, which thankfully was only about 5 minutes.
When we got home, he wouldn't get out of the car, so I had to drag him inside. He stood at the front door continuing to scream and sob for about 20 minutes and wouldn't let me touch him or talk to him. He then started to shake his whole body and tried biting the door. He didn't seem angry, just completely out of control and overwhelmed. I scooped him up and held him tight for about 5 minutes, and then he finally relaxed and settled. I had to hold him for another 45 minutes after that before he would get down and do anything without me carrying him.
The rest of our night was good, but I'm still really emotional (and exhausted) from the whole thing. It was really overwhelming to see him so far gone and not be able to help him.

Does anyone have a cradle cap shampoo that they like? LO is having a major flair up (also is this something I should worry about, LO is 16 months). We olive oiled her head yesterday, but wondering if we should also change shampoos. We used aveeno with oatmeal before and it helped. Are you sure it isn't excema at this point and just concentrated on her scalp?

We still use it, actually. www.mustelausa.com/shop/foam-shampoo-for-newborns-1.html

budders, I'm sorry for that awful meltdown. I had a 45 min drive with a screaming crying 6 mo on Sunday and that frayed my nerves so bad. I sat in the dark and drank a beer to decompress. Hope your LO is feeling much better and no more repeats!
