Huh. “12 reasons why Baby Sussex might have already been born.” That would be interesting if it turns out the baby is like a week old already, lol. http://instagr.am/p/Bw7M2iYhiAl Wow. I hope they did some stretches before making all those reaches.

I guess to me it reads like “hey how can we pretend we’re unfollowing the RF for good reasons when we’re really doing it because of petty/valid family issues”.

I feel badly for her. I remember how annoying it was with people calling to just ask if I had had the baby yet and I didn't even go over with my pregnancies. I can't imagine the entire world being interested in the state of my uterus. *I say as I also am waiting to hear about the baby. Hypocrite, party of one. Me either. I had planned to work up in till I went into labor but I was so sick of people saying something that I hadn’t had her yet, I had my replacement trained, then I had high blood pressure one appointment so DH told me to stop working on my due date. I went 6 days late so I’m glad I stopped working because I probably would have murdered someone who made a statement I was still pregnant.

That baby will be here on Toddler Mermaid’s Birthday. I can feel it. Monday is the day. That’s my oldest son’s birthday also so obviously. 😁

I delivered a week overdue with DS1 and worked up until I went to the hospital in labor (working from home that day!). The week between due date and delivery - the look on my coworkers' faces when they asked when I was due and I said this past Tuesday...

So... I just finished stretching so I can do some reaching of my own.
What if Baby Sussex has a serious diagnosis? Either known or unknown before birth? Anything from club foot to hydrocephalus to a heart defect. What baby is born, and they are also making decisions regarding his/her health and also creating a plan of action as to how to announce and handle it all?
I say this from a perspective of a mom who has a kid with a serious diagnosis that went undetected for a few months. But I can totally see, had we gotten the diagnosis at birth or before, needing some space to process and deal with specialist visits and procedures. If everyone thinks it's going to be a home birth, and that baby hasn't come yet, are they able to get back and forth from a hospital for an operation without a lot of fuss?
Again.... just viewing things in a purely hypothetical way and reflecting on how I handled my own social media of a couple hundred friends when we were going through a whirlwind of stuff. Then blowing that up to a global scale.

Well I didn’t say I hate charities. I don’t understand how on earth following a couple of your family IG takes away from charities in the slightest. It feels very sanctimonious. Like hey, you can do both. People can support charities and follow other accounts. It’s very eye rolly. Because it gives the sole focus on the charities. If a user goes to their Instagram page they know exactly where to look for the pages they're highlighting instead of the weird picture tags that sometimes overlap weirdly and make it hard to click on the one you want to view. It makes complete sense to me. I don't get the eyerolls or exasperation. Right, by only for a limited time. If you want to highlight them it would make more sense to me to tag them in the caption, which won’t change. I’m at a 2.

I'm an in the moment kind of stalker.

Then blowing that up to a global scale. I have wondered about this as well. Meghan is 37, which definitely increases the chances for issues with the pregnancy and the baby. I know several friends have dealt with serious diagnoses at birth and then telling friends/family about it.
I also know a couple of AMA first time mothers who had devastating ends to their otherwise uneventful pregnancies. And I can't imagine dealing with that on a global scale.
I hope all is well with mother, baby, and all involved.

wildflower i'd assume if the baby had a serious diagnosis then it would have been born in a hospital or transfered there very quickly after birth. Either way if it was out in a public place then we'd know about it because someone would have leaked that news already

Well I hope she's at least walking laps around the house. Because if she's been sitting back with her feet up since we last saw her that baby is staying put. She needs to walk that baby out! I mean....all the walking in the world isn’t necessarily going to put you into labor. I had a good friend who walked 4-5 miles per day the last 5 weeks of her pregnancy and she delivered at 41.1 weeks. All that did was make her exhausted and worn out.

so here's what worked for me: - go to routine check - get told baby is too skinny - get booked for an induction - go home and cry for 3 hours - BAM go into labour - walk into scheduled induction yelling "no need! Put the pit away"
I probably wouldn't recommend this route for Meghan though. 'twas a little stressful

I just read a report that "palace insiders" say there is no baby yet. Also that Harry would likely pull out of the Invictus trip next week if she had the baby before then. They will also announce when she's in labor.
I wonder if MM had FTM hope she would have the baby at 38w or something. Or just miscalculated/had baby brain and blurred out the wrong thing 😂
I bet it'll be at least a week before we see that baby. My new bet is May 10th

She’s a small William in a dress. (I say with love, as I have birthed two small female versions of my husband.)

I had a baby in the UK and they wouldn't even talk induction until 42 weeks. I realize that in her situation she probably has a little more pull, but if she wants a home birth then she may be seeing what happens.
