Does anyone follow the author emily Giffin on Instagram? She is obsessed with the royal family and is so mad about the name. So Mad. And all her followers are chiming in that it’s so disrespectful of Meghan to have picked it (cause clearly she must have picked it cause it’s SO AWFUL). People are really getting worked up. I don't follow her but I have read her books and considering how they've really gone downhill since Book #2 (Something Blue), she needs to focus her attention on that vs a name. Newsflash, EG - no one OWNS a name. It's silly to bitch about it. Possibly unpopular opinion here, but equally silly and self-absorbed, is hoping someone (famous or otherwise) doesn't steal "your" baby's name. See above. Seriously, no one cares. YESSSS someone else agrees with me that her books after Something Blue are garbage! I love The first two and despised the next two and gave up. |

Be glad you stopped before the one she wrote where she basically fell in love with her father figure (a man who helped raise her and her BFF's dad) and got together with him after his wife died. Many, many former fans agreed and it blew up into this whole drama where her HUSBAND took to the net to attack people on her behalf. Not to completely derail this thread but I seem to remember when her book to movie Something Borrowed came out she was pretty sulky over the bad reviews. This was on Twitter at the time. She was also weirdly obsessed with the lead guy. She’s something else.

Yes, Archie was a US citizen at birth. And a UK one. And he can't renounce his US citizenship until he is either 16 or 18. But if she doesn't have any signatory rights on his accounts and vice versa then the US won't ever have to see his financial info. |
