I haven't caught up, and I don't have time to participate today, but I just wanted to say that I'm shocked that it's a boy. I don't know why, but I was just convinced they were having a girl. I am happy for them either way!

They absolutely know the name already. Ha at Harry trying to be evasive - using being overdue and having a few more days to think about names as an excuse for why you DON'T have a name is poor logic, but he had no sleep last night. And yes two days we will have pics and a name. We knew our names waaay ahead of time and used the ol’ “We want to meet the baby first” line to head off any unsolicited opinions, haha. |

So she seemed to have had a relatively short labor? Or maybe they delayed announcing her going into labor. I have this vague memory from Kate’s deliveries that they have to notify the Queen before any announcements/updates so if labor begins after the Queen is in bed for the night we won’t know until after she wakes up. Sounds like that’s what happened here. It also sounds like a short labor and I’m so happy for her. She definitely deserved that after being pregnant so long. |
