Week/Fruit/EDD: 18w 5d/ Bell Pepper/ Sept 25
FTM, Etc: FTM
Appointments: Anatomy scan this coming Sunday!!
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Blue
Milestones: Feeling a lot of movement!
Symptoms: Anxiety, weepiness, the usual hormonal rollercoaster
Rants: I have a coworker that won’t stop bitching when we’re busy or overbooked at work and with my hormones I’m becoming a real snatch with I have to work with her. She can’t phrase things in a polite way either, her requests are always these thinly veiled barbs that make me want to smack her
Raves: Everyone else at work is like my family, and they’re kind enough to be planning a baby shower for me and it’s so sweet it makes me want to cry
GTKY: What is one thing your H/SO does that drives you INSANE? He just gets obscenely loud sometimes, hell be home all day and I get off from a looong day and I’ve been around loud ass barking dogs and busy on my feet and he just starts acting wacky and loud and silly and usually it’s endearing but after a long day, I don’t want you to be singing loud, bad renditions of Danzig in my ear 🤯

Good morning! Week/Fruit/EDD: 16w/Avocado/10.14FTM, Etc: 2nd
Appointments: Just left one. Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): PinkMilestones: Toenails, apparently. Symptoms: Still slightly nauseated, although instead of being all day it's from about 5pm until I go to sleep.Rants: The girl that took my blood this morning butchered me. Raves: Heard baby girl's HB today. So that was reassuring. GTKY: What is one thing your H/SO does that drives you INSANE? Not that he can really help this, but with my rage right now, his clicking jaw. OMG. All I can hear is his jaw. I want to put his head through a wall. LOL
ETA: I just realized it is in fact, not morning anymore.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 16w / Dill Pickle/ Oct 14
FTM, Etc: STM
Appointments: Have to get a blood draw this week for my 2nd tri screening
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Blue!
Milestones: We officially know the sex, so this baby finally seems ~real~. We also did the official fb post, so now everyone knows.
Symptoms: Everything is making me gag and dry heave
Rants: Don't really have any right now
Raves: Went back for a follow-up u/s to see the sex. Baby waved at us as soon as the u/s started! He was moving all over the place, and it was so cute to see. Got the sex verified, and the u/s matches the NIPT, so all is good and we are now preparing for life with 2 boys.
GTKY: What is one thing your H/SO does that drives you INSANE? He takes really long (like 3 hour) naps in the middle of the damn day. (Honestly I think he has some kind of sleeping disorder.)

Week/Fruit/EDD: 18w3d/cucumber/9.27
FTM, Etc: 4th baby
Appointments: At the end of May. A/S should be next week but we'll see.
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Finding out
Milestones:
Symptoms: Tired, indigestion
Rants: Nothing too much, besides all of the tiredness. 2nd trimester energy is such a lie.
Raves: I had 3 friends tell me they are pregnant last week! Lots of babies coming in December ❤️
GTKY: What is one thing your H/SO does that drives you INSANE? He doesn't put things away very well. I work all day trying to teach the kids to clean up after themselves and then he comes home and leaves his shoes in the living room, his hat on the couch... he'll have stuff everywhere by bedtime! It drives me nuts.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 15/avocado/oct 21 (based on ultrasound, I haven’t seen the midwife since to known if she will change my “official” due date or not)
FTM, Etc: TTM
Appointments: not until may 9
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): green
Milestones: feeling some faint movement occasionally!
Symptoms: still tired always, boobs are feeling really heavy (I also weaned DS about 1.5 weeks ago so my body is still adjusting I think?)
Rants: I seem to always wake up to pee at 5:30 am. And then it’s so hard to fall back asleep 😕
Raves: we have told all our family! We aren’t making an official announcement but are ok with the news filtering it’s way out now
GTKY: What is one thing your H/SO does that drives you INSANE? He is apparently oblivious to crumbs. He will make food and then just leave the crumbs all over the counter. And has a really bad habit of leaving clothes and socks beside the bed. That is two things. I am easily annoyed 🤷♀️

I’m so new at this I have no idea what normal is... Also (at least here) ultrasound techs aren’t allowed to give info beyond pointing out anatomy etc. So even when I had to go back for a repeat ultrasound with DD due to a low lying placenta I didn’t find out until my doctor called me the next day. Same with the SCH with DS, the midwife called me to tell me. So no news is good news for sure

Week/Fruit/EDD: 17w1d/Oct 6 (but likely induction for blood pressure last week of September)
FTM, Etc: 3tm
Appointments: May 14 mfm Anatomy scan
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): pink
Milestones: feeling movement pretty consistently but it freaks me out when it's not as strong even though that's completely normal at this stage
Symptoms: dizzy if I don't eat regularly, tired, cranky
Rants: haven't heard from the doctor on my TSH level from this past blood draw, which is probably good news, but I'm going to call them. I wish they released my test results online
Raves: Less nauseated if I eat regularly
GTKY: What is one thing your H/SO does that drives you INSANE

Week/Fruit/EDD: 16/Oct 16
FTM, Etc: 3TM
Appointments: Next week
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): blue
Milestones: the news is now public knowledge
Symptoms: tired
Rants:
Raves: I asked the nurse if I could come in for a doppler because I'm not really feeling movement, I did with DS1 & 2 super early. She obliged and my doctor actually came in to do it, baby is fine 148bpm. My doctor also told me if I need to come in once a week for a doppler that it was no big deal and she wants me to feel comfortable and reassured. I really love her, she's a great doctor.
GTKY: What is one thing your H/SO does that drives you INSANE? He clicks his teeth while talking when he's frustrated. MAKES ME INSANE.

@crazy3dogmom I’d call and let them know. It could be congestion related (I can get a congestion headache and have no other signs of being congested)
That said, I was plagued by them with DS2, and we never could find a culprit for the headaches

Week/Fruit/EDD: 17w2d/chipmunk/Oct 7
FTM, Etc: 3
Appointments: just had one on Tuesday and next will be May 21 (anatomy scan!)
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): green
Milestones: three weeks with no spotting!
Symptoms: nothing to write home about
Rants: at my appt, the HB was 127 and I have never had a reading that low. She assured me up and down that it was totally normal but I just wish I could have a redo. It usually is 160.
Raves: I found a cute dress on clearance at Pink Blush Maternity for $17 for a wedding I have this July. Score.
GTKY: What is one thing your H/SO does that drives you INSANE? Leaving his socks in the living room, not fully sealing the shredded cheese bag, putting a wet umbrella on my seat instead of on the floor of the car a couple days ago, snoring....lol

Week/Fruit/EDD: 21w4d, baby book choy, 9/8
FTM, Etc: 2TM
Appointments: Lots lately. AS was last week plus follow ups. See below for details.
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Pink
Milestones: Feeling lots of movement lately.
Symptoms: So much heartburn
Rants/Raves: I'm going to combine this. Monday we went in for our AS and they saw a couple things of concern. A clubfoot and they couldn't see the stomach bubble plus couldn't get a good view of heart and spine due to her position. They were worried about a condition called VACTERL where multiple systems that develop at the same time, don't develop correctly. We quickly scheduled follow ups, an echo for her heart the next day and then another ultrasound Thursday. Echo came back perfect but they also couldn't see the stomach bubble so we for sure thought she had an issue with her esophagus/trachea so we started preparing ourselves for NICU and surgery after she's born. Thursday we go back for the follow up ultrasound and BAM, stomach bubble was visible and everything else looked perfect. So after an emotional few days, baby is healthy but she does have a clubfoot that will require some work after she's born.
GTKY: What is one thing your H/SO does that drives you INSANE? Leaving things all over the counter and table, but never organized. I've compared him to The Sims game multiple times where they can't stack mail on top of the old pile and have to keep creating a new pile everyday.

Week/Fruit/EDD: 17w5d / Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch / Oct 5 Appointments: Not for a while Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Green Milestones: Symptoms: Still the gag reflex. Otherwise, doing well! Rants: Looking more fat than pregnant. I'm fine not having strangers on the street know and therefore comment, but still. Raves: I've worn J a few times the past couple weeks and no back ache! Yay! GTKY: Doesn't pick up after himself. Bread crumbs are left on the cutting board after he slices bread for his lunch. Things are dropped and left there. Etc. Actually, my mom thinks my bump popped this week and I see it. H doesn't.

I have two nephews with a club foot and they were able to correct it with orthotics and maybe a minor surgery when they were a little older. We met with the ortho yesterday to discuss it and they would do casting for a few weeks, maybe a minor surgery to release a tendon then it's a boot and brace that she has to wear during sleep until she's 4. I have to admit that 4 years sounds awful but there's definitely worse things that we could be dealing with. I'm just picturing my son who is 2.5 and thinking about how he would deal with it.

stayingblonde - I'm so over the gag reflex this time around. Every little thing sets it off. Ugh. randomosity - I try to always have a place for everything and put things back when we're done with them so we don't have clutter but my H also is like yours and stuff ends up everywhere. Whyyyyyyy doodlemommy - Mine also doesn't see the crumbs. Ugh babystandish - I'm constantly tossing H's clothes on his side of the bed so he's forced to deal with them. @crazy3dogmom - Doesn't hurt to mention a week-long headache to your provider. Do you have allergies? Mine are a mess right now. How's it going with the braces? I might get them a while after this baby comes. I'm looking at the ones which go behind your teeth since the ortho I saw for an estimate felt it was too much work for Invisalign. goldenlove - What a rollercoaster. Glad the heart and stomach look great! I'm sure the treatment for the club foot sounds daunting but you have totally got this!

I finally called and so I have an appointment Monday since the midwife who was in Friday didn't feel comfortable prescribing anything due to my narcolepsy. I do have allergies- cats (dont have one for this reason), house dust and dust mites. When I had the test done at 14 that is all that showed up, anyways. I have only had braces since late December, and there is already such a huge improvement. My teeth were horrible- one nearly to the roof of my mouth, one turned nearly 90 degrees, my 12 year molars barely broke the gums due to lack of space and a nearly 90% overbite. The final push to spend the 7500 for them was 2 different orthodonist telling me if I didn't get them fixed, I was likely to be toothless by 40 due to the damage being done by the crowding. I have the traditional ones, though the place offered ceramic for the top that is less noticeable but i have a thing for things have to match. It does suck sometimes, because you are so limited in what you can eat (nothing too crunchy, no gummy stuff) and the pain/aches that come with it is not fun but it is totally worth it if you lack confidence with your smile. I smile so much more than I used to. Edit to add: the most annoying right now with the food is that I eat basically everything with a fork and knife because I cant really bite into anything, and all I really want are some Sour Patch Kids but gummies are a big no-no. Thanks for sharing! My teeth aren't horrible, but my mouth is small so there is crowding. I have one eyetooth which pushed out pretty far and caused the one above to move as well. I'm concerned about future issues. We'll see what they say when I get at least two more opinions eventually.
