Also hiiiii! Work is making me pay for taking time off for fun. Hell let's be honest, I'll pay for being offline as long as it takes me to fly up there tomorrow. But I was legit thinking about how everyone has that one friend they never see again after their wedding and does that apply to our GTG too? I certainly am not going to be it.  Anyhow DH held the fort down just fine over the weekend - there was laundry going, plenty of groceries, and the boys were clean and happy. I got them up and out of the house and let DH sleep in this morning as a thank you/sorry for heading right back out tomorrow. Both boys wore their new Denver tees - they were a bit stiff but the boys were too excited to wait for me to wash them. So I did finally tell DH about the pole dancing and his response was mostly laughter. He's so self-conscious and concerned about me not being attracted to him since he's gained weight, that he's pretty thoughtless about how he reacts to me. I've told him plenty of times how having kids has changed my self-perception negatively but I have to remind him again each time he makes a "joke" at my expense. I'm not sure if it's more due to him being so focused on his own self-esteem issues or if it's more about his memory issues, but he gets an earful regardless. My therapist's focus on communication has really hit home with me. Sorry (not sorry) DH! |

I somehow? lost five pounds during the trip so I’m going to adopt a permanent diet of Chinese food, candy, and champagne. No worries cagoldi, I found them. Sigh... |

I just googled both and they're both nice, but I'm partial to the white, looks a bit softer IMO I didn’t know if the white would be too stark but it’s what I was leaning to. Thanks for looking! I also vote white or a slight off-white. |

Hi! I'm recovered, but only because I WFH on Mondays and just got back from a massage.
LOL at goldi ready to plan the next GTG already. When we officially establish the compound, she's a shoo-in for Social Director!

I took a 3 hour nap and just dug myself out of a pile of paperwork. My drivers did good while I was gone but 2 are slacking and owe me stuff.
J peed in his car seat while waiting for me at the airport so I got to deal with that at 9pm when we finally came home last night. I've got load 3 of 5 in the wash. A had done good mostly but all the little crap that I do that he doesn't even think about- I think he noticed.

Poor boy jewels. Do they have any new plants outside? Or was he maybe handling leaves from some of the trees that he could have reacted to? Or ants? Cadence swells like that if she gets bit by ants. I hope the Benedryl helps! |

I'm feeling a little of the post-trip blues as well. I truly enjoyed meeting you ladies and had such an amazing time. I just wish we lived closer. But I agree this means we just need to keep this a tradition and do more meet-ups in the future with more of our gals.

The house wasn't as bad as my husband led me to believe, but I did some cleaning yesterday so now I'm sitting back rewatching some scenes from the last GoT while Cass is at school. I'm horrible at jus relaxing, but seeing as how this is a 6 day workweek I need to take today slow.

My mom was here a lot this last week to help Pete with the boys. She announced she had a new conspiracy theory after spending a lot of time at the park. I was expecting something juicy, but it was just that she thinks the other moms are copying me because they all have huge straw hats now.
Uh huh. Or, it could be explained by the fact it might be getting hotter? LOL

wedding - I have a folder on my laptop of celtic knots for tattoo inspiration. I actually have 3 different tattoos I want right now so who knows when and even what I'll actually get next. Also you look freaking incredible - I had forgotten that you had lost all that weight because you just look like someone who's always been tiny. Aw thanks! |
