1. She's pretty obedient for the most part, but sometimes when we tell her no or give her an answer she doesn't like, she drops her forehead down and gives us the most adorable evil glare I have ever seen before accepting what we say and continuing on with the day. 2. There's not a whole lot new here. Just continuing her vocabulary explosion. Her walking is really good. Sleep is still solid. 3. Same tantrum different day. Usual toddlery things. QOTW: I used to love camping trips. We always did rustic camping out on public lands. It was about as natural as it could get! This is almost the look. Imagine it more intense. 😂

1. I have the infant car seat out, which TT officially thinks is for her baby dolls. During naps or after I put her to bed, I try and find a more inconspicuous place to put it, hoping she'll maybe forget about it. Nope. Without fail, within 5-10 minutes, here comes this tiny toddler dragging a 10lb infant seat behind her repeating "es baby? es baby?". The determination and dedication is admirable. 2. She's a brave kid. This is a combo of aww (poor baby) and aww! (way to go). We started swim lessons two weeks ago. Both times, while waiting outside of the pool area for her instructor to call us, her face has gotten all blotchy and her lip quivery. You can tell she's fighting back tears each time. I'm not sure if it has been fear of the environment, or thinking I'm leaving her, or what, but you can tell there are some big emotions going on inside of her little mind. Yet, we talk about how brave she is and how much fun swim is going to be, and she hops right into the pool with a smile on her face. I has a proud. 3. I might be doing this solo thing for longer than I thought, and I'm not very happy about it. She's not doing anything out of the realm of toddler be toddlering, but as you guise know.. it gets to be exhausting. Plustoo, with a high risk pg, I need s second parent back so I can focus on what my medical team needs me to do to get us to term, but LOLOL to what I need mattering at all in this context. QOTW: None that I can think of as a kid, but as I got into HS years and beyond, definitely a lot of beach trips with friends. I LURVE camping, and the mellyknu kind (primitive, non-camp ground, only-you-can-prevent-forest-fires, kind) .. and I'd love to do that with the kids someday. Not sure how many .. forests .. exist in the fly over states though, so that might be a challenge.

Is she offering lessons? Because TT could use a few, emphasis on the bolded. We have Saturdays after 2pm, and Sundays after 1pm available, but can work around her schedule. LMK.

Hi y'all! It just hit me yesterday that I have a 16 month old. How is that even possible?!
1. He answers no to questions, I.E. Do you want to get dressed? Well, H thought he would beclever and ask if he loved Daddy. Superman answered no, so H asked if he loved Mommy. Y'all, Superman looked at H like he was an idiot for even asking! I've never laughed so hard.
2. Superman gives lots of loves. He does it spontaneously and on command, but the spontaneous ones are the best. He always gives loves after he wakes up. Melt my heart.
3. We are cutting two molars and I swear they are slower than molasses. Life has been full of screaming and gnashing of teeth.
QOTW: Every year, my dad's company did their picnic at a beach water park called Shipwreck Island. Those were the best of times! I grew up going to that park and we have so many family memories there. I would love to start something like with Superman.

Hilarious - He loves to sit on the doggie door ledge outside and talk to the dogs. Little does he know, they're being patient and not knocking him over to get back in.
Cute - he's got a cold (which sucks) but he's super cuddly right now and he's never that kid that will sit with you.
Challenge - I need the cold to go away since we're heading to the beach tomorrow.

mellyknu can you please add me? 1.) A 2.) born 06/16 1.) Hilarious moment? Oh gosh so many this week! He's definitely trying to engage with the dog more, and pretty much everything the dog does is comic gold. Walks by? Giggle fest. Sits near him? Belly laughs. 🤷♀️ I'll take the easy entertainment! Also he is walking gangbusters now! Explosion the last 2 days. 2.) He has been such a little cuddle bug recently. I know when he's getting tired. He just crawls in my lap and nuzzles in. Mama's heart melts! 3.) Challenges, tale as old as time, getting him to try new textures is hard. Pedi was less than concerned which was both reassuring and infuriating at the same time. But KOKO and when all else fails I know he will eat PB toast, lol. Otherwise he's doing pretty good despite cutting molar(s). QOTW: my family went on a road trip from Denmark to Italy when I was 10ish. It was so much fun! So much culture, food, and family (I have several relatives scattered in Europe). I hope someday to do a similar trip with A!

1. Hilarious: I can't think of anything particularly funny. I'm spacey this AM
2. She has started signing for more when there is an activity she likes and she signed for more after I tickled her this week. Lol
3. 4 molars breaking through at once. Poor girl.
