The Mjolnir moment was one where the entire theater cheered and I loved every bit of that! The whole final battle was epic and beautiful and everything I could have hoped for. This movie gave me all the character moments that I missed in Infinity War. oh man, I don't even know where to start. It was amazing. Plain and simpleI loved how they used Captain Marvel sparingly, but in spectacular ways. I am stupidly happy they cut her hair. Like ridiculously stupidly happy. I would have liked a little more of her. I didn't need her to solve all their problems, but she's this awesome character and I wanted more. The Clint and Natasha fighting each other to sacrifice themselves was heartbreaking. Totally in character though. I for sure would be do it for my family. This movie was funny! Like, not even a little bit! I loved Professor Hulk and you can fight me on that. It's the perfect conclusion of Bruce/Hulk's journey. Ragnarok is spent with him stuck as Hulk, and then Infinity War, he's stuck as Bruce and can't coax Hulk out, and he realizes he needs to be both in order to be himself. Very fitting. And Bruce got Hulk's sense of humor. He needed that.I don't even care that the timeline thing makes no sense (like, how does Infinity War happen if 2014 Thanos is dusted...). Not one bit lol. Maybe I'll care on my second or third rewatch, but not right now. Bruce kind of explains it in how everything that has happened in their past, continues to actually have happened. So they can't go back and undo what has already been done. The Thanos that was dusted was from an alternate timeline. So when Steve undoes what they did, that timeline that Thanos came from is an echo that ceases to be.
This movie was such a love letter to the whole Avengers saga and revisiting the Battle of NY (and Cap in the elevator, we cheered when he whispered "Hail Hydra") and Tony getting to see his dad one last time, and when Cap sees Peggy through the window, oh my heart. It was such a fan service. Every last bit of it.Fucking Happy with the kid at the end made me cry like a baby. I mean, I was already crying, but that just crushed me. There were so many tears. So many. Made me think of my babies.I didn't love the Fat!Thor trope, but I did respect their commitment to it and lack of "Thor suddenly gets his six pack back" scene. And when he suits up for the final battle and has the braided viking beard it was perfect. I'm still trying to figure out how the lightening braided his beard thoughThe Woman power scene in the battle was amazing and epic and I don't even care that it was a bit cheesy and precious, it was everything I have ever wanted and more. We deserved it. THat's all I'm saying.I am reeling and elated and sad and a whirlwind of emotions. Damn that was good. thoughts are in bold up there.

I assume that even if Cap did stay on the DL in the past I think he would still talk to Stark. So perhaps Howard made the new shield. I like the thought of Howard being reunited with Steve.

I basically echo everything mischief , said. I loved it all. I am very sad that Nat was killed too. I had always hoped that they would do a standalone black widow movie. And I was sad that Vision didn't get brought back, because I love the Scarlet Witch and want her to be happy. I was secretly hoping Deadpool would somehow make a cameo, like walking out of the portals when everyone else did. Hulk/Bruce was too much. I'm glad he was at peace with what he was, but idk. He was kind of a buttface as that person. Out of shape Thor was funny, but then I felt guilty for laughing at how he was handling his PTSD...not his PTSD persay, but obviously he was struggling and I felt bad for laughing. The girl power part was amazing. I really do love Brie Larson as Capt Marvel. I love that Peggy and Steve married, but weird that he kisses her niece in the past, because now is there two alternate realities for who Peggy ends up with? Also confused. Is there a 3rd Guardians of the Galaxy movie? Will they talk about how Gamora is alive in the past but future Gamora is dead? Again, confused. How is Thanos so powerful even without the Infinity Stones? That part I don't get. Capt Marvel even was struggling against him and I thought she was the most powerful? Stand alone Black Widow movie is still in the works. Pretty sure it predates everything. And they didn't acquire Fox early enough to add Deadpool. Filming and all was done by then. I'm also sad about Vis. Makes sense though, since he relied on the mind stone and it was definitely dragged out of him before the snap went down. And as long as the stone was part of the gauntlet, he couldn't be brought back.

And does Loki survive since he escaped with the Tesserect? Or does he still die by Thanos in the future? I was confused that he just wasn't shown anymore after that scene. I am leaving all sorts of wiggle movement in Loki's story. He's a very wily one. The one that escaped though, that timeline was erased when Steve replaced the Stones

Seeing movie this pm, but already pretty spoiled. I believe the Black Widow movie is still a go - they have actors and director attached to it and everything. I think they've always said it would be a prequel. I agree, seems weird, but hey. Rumor says Winter Soldier might appear in it as well. I understand yes to third Guardians movie. They already had a script by James Gunn, and I read that Gunn is listed as a producer in Endgame so presumably he was read in on any developments he needed at the time he was writing? And, yeah, Gunn is working for Marvel again. Did it seem to those who have seen it that Bucky already knew Steve's plan at the end? And approved? Yeah, I'm biased here....LOL Yeah, Bucky totally seemed in on it. He urged Sam forward after all

EW said that the lone blonde kid at the funeral is Harley, the kid from IM3. ::Cue even more tears:: Yeah, DH said that when we were trying to figure it out during the movie.

Well, that's my main thought process. I lost it during that scene. As soon as they got to Vormir, I tensed up and started tearing up. By the time they were fighting over who would do it, I was full on crying. When they showed her body splayed out on the ground, broken and bloody, I just lost it. Like, full on ugly crying in the middle of the theater. Didn't even care. MH tried to tell me to "calm down", which got him a very strong rebuke. Overall, I loved the movie. It closed up all the loose ends with a giant beautiful fucking bow. Key points as follows: Scott is officially the comic relief of the MCU. He had some awesome lines and interactions. I particularly liked him with Rocket. The time heist was equal parts funny and sad. I loved how all the main guys got a special moment, either with another Avenger (Clint and Nat), or someone from their past. The scenes with Thor's mom and Tony's dad were particularly touching. I'm a tad pissed that Nat didn't get a sweet funeral or send off. All she got was a group pouting scene. Fuckers. I loved the big fight scene at the end. I absolutely started crying again when all the portals started opening and the fallen came back. Like, God, it was beautiful. Seeing everyone reunited to face Thanos was amazing. That girl power montage was bittersweet. Like, I loved it, it was awesome. But I started crying again, and was muttering "everyone but Black Widow" for the entire scene. Loved Cap being worthy. That was cool. And watching them bounce weapons back and forth was amazing. It was hysterical when Thor was like give me back Storm breaker when they ended up with the opposite weapon. Like, Cap can have the hammer, sure, but not Stormbreaker. Oh Tony. I lost it at his last words. A very fitting end to such a prominent character. The funeral was very sweet. I cried, a lot. The happy ending montage at the end was lovely. I loved the idea of Cap living out his life with Peggy. So now he's retired, lol. Those are all the thoughts I can sparse out right now. I'm still heartbroken about Nat. She's been my favorite since IM2. Hell, she was the best part of that mediocre movie. And now she's gone! I cried when we got the car, and kept saying "I can't believe they killed her" over and over again. I should stop typing before I start ugly crying again. Scott/Rocket are excellent together. Like a modern Rosenkrantz and Guildenstern

Saw it this morning. I'm so emotionally spent, I loved it. I'm a huge Paul Rudd fan and loved his part in this. When he was frantically searching for Cassie's name, then seeing her. I was a mess. I can't even tell you how many times I cried. And the fucking cheeseburger conversation at the end, so many tears. I have very few things that I didn't love, but I do wish they had done more of an acknowledgement for Nat and Vision at the end. Can't wait to see it again, too bad it will probably be the end of May before I can make it back. I was so freaking worried that he would see her name. Not sure I could have handled that.

When we saw the original avengers movie, we sat next to this woman who was super emotionally invested in every moment of that movie. And when iron man flies into the ...alien hole? or whatever, she yelled “OH NO! What happened to iron man!?” very sincerely and DH and I both thought that was hilarious and have quoted it to each other over the years. I had a big plans to say that to DH during the (anticipated) death of iron man in this movie, but then I looked over and he was sobbing so I decided not to say it. I totally was dry eyed then and H was tearing. Which is odd for us. Though I did cry during the funeral.

I've read there was already a script for a third Guardians movie, and James Gunn has returned to the fold. So, I wouldn't be surprised if there is one at all. Paul Rudd has been great in the MCU - and I so loved Hope saying 'we're on it Cap!' - what a great call-back. I just love them as a couple. GotG3 is still coming, but it's been pushed back a couple years due to the mess with James Gunn.

Our theater had flyers posted that said there were no end scenes. People still stayed but we got the hell out before the traffic hit. We stayed, but were like the only ones. Because after a week, everyone already knew. But my mother taught me to always stay, because the other people who worked on the movie deserve to have their names recognized too.

Did anyone catch Howard the Duck in the battle scene? I'm reading he was there - I guess another reason to see the movie again! I did not. it was hard to catch everyone in that. Sooo many people. And where did Valkyrie get her PEgasus from?

The other consequences to their actions in those timelines still would have occured, such as Loki escaping.

I’m going into the twitter verse of arguing over the time travel in this and it’s just a bad idea but I can’t stop. Also no one is arguing over how future nebula is still around when she shot herself... ? Multiple time lines. Future Nebula comes from a different timeline. So the other Nebula is more like an echo, especially after Steve reverses the change. Happens with The Flash in DC too.

I got emotional driving earlier thinking about Tony's funeral. He worked so hard for so long to protect and save the world (albeit being shitty about it at times) and then he finally just accepts what he has...and it's all lost. His daughter watching his hologram broke me. "Part of the journey is the end." ::sob:: I understand exactly zero about Cap going back in time (like I get why he did it, but that's about it) so I'm just trying not to think about it. Oh god yes. I want Morgan to have her daddy back!

Those were portals opened by Dr Strange and his wizard people with their sling rings. I mean more how did they know there was a battle? How did they know it was in New York when they were all just in Wakanda? Is that Dr. Strange doing magic to see? They were all snuffed out and then snapped back. What kind of information was conveyed to them, and how, to know that this was even happening? Strange knew the future where they won. So when they snapped back, he knew what needed to be done. I'm sure he communicated and then sent everything in motion.

In addition to "where tf was my Bucky/Steve reunion?!", why didn't I get a Steve and Peggy reunion?! My heart has been breaking for them since the first Cap movie and this is what I get?? Andplusalso what is Spiderman supposed to do now?? I am having feelings. I turned to H and was like So Does Far from Home take place in 2023 or what? And did ALL of Peter's friends get snapped? Because they're all in it. He grieves and then continues to be Spider man. He's had a hard life, it's not his first time.

If you go back in time, there's two of you, right? So what happened to the other Steve that was in the ice? I know I need to stop thinking about this. Ned had to be dusted too, right? Otherwise he would've been 5 years older than Peter and not still in high school. He's still in the ice of course. Peggy was more than capable of keeping that all to herself for sure. As long as they don't encounter each other, there's no paradox.

So...did Gamora get snapped? She wasn’t on the ship’s system at the end when he was looking for her, right? I don't think so. She wasn't on Thanos's side.

I enjoyed baby Antman (well really any Antman) and the Hail Hydra in the elevator. I was also happy to get a little more Loki time. He’s my fave. I generally like a time travel plot. I just try not to think about it too hard and an enjoy the ride. The second they mentioned getting the Soul Stone, I told DH that someone was not coming back. And thanks to whomever explained who the boy at Tony’s funeral was. I had no idea. The different aged Scott's were hysterical. Especially when he went all "someone peed in my suit"

Oooo so of Loki disappeared, and they had to go further in time to get the tesseract, did Loki just save his own life? Since mcu is not treating time travel as wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey and instead as more of a linear travel, which would make the timeline look like: time machine used > 2012 failure > Loki disappears > 1970 success, and he disappeared "before" they got the stone? Edited because conflicting statements because I am always a stream of consciousness But this happened during the heist of the mind stone. So they would be undoing that as well, making none of the heisting happen. ETA, the thought here that I'm having is that Bruce said they would be returning them to the exact second they left, restoring the timeline. Making the alternate timelines verge away from the real one.

I assume that even if Cap did stay on the DL in the past I think he would still talk to Stark. So perhaps Howard made the new shield. I like the thought of Howard being reunited with Steve. I have the new shield being made by Shuri while she rolled her eyes. Steve made a stop in Wakanda, explained everything to them, and then came back to sit on the bench. The end.
