Thanks, ladies! Waiting and worrying are hard... couple that with the isolation of first tri when you’re trying to hide it for fear of the worst, it’s crazy hard. FX for good betas notblanche!

My appointment went well this morning! Got to see one baby measuring right on track with a heartbeat in the 150s. Feeling SO relieved.

I honestly have no idea how we’ll get by without the RNP this time. It was the ONLY way we slept for the first few months with DS 😬
I had my second beta today, it went from 156 to 278 in 48 hours (doubling time 58 hours). When the nurse called she seemed pretty worried about it, although I know from my own research that a doubling time of anywhere from 48-72 hours is ok. She kind of freaked me out though. They’re having me do another beta on Friday.

Welcome, muskiefan! I'm happy to see a few of us with end of December due dates around here And thank you all for the support, everyone. Most of my feelings of anxiety this week have stemmed from pregnancy-related change/ changes to our family. It's my biggest trigger, change, and even though I want a baby, and we were actively TTC, I am scared. My relationship with Mh suffered a great deal during my first pregnancy/ after M was born. We didn't have sex (like, at all) for a long time after — but the last 10–12 months have been a lot better. And I sort of melted down at the thought of going through it all again. I'll be okay, because change can be good. I'm grateful for the community

The beta came back at 192; it's unclear whether they'll want me to do a repeat but... I guess I'm pregnant.

notblanche My marriage struggles with a newborn too and I hate it. It was the main cause of my apprehension when H said he wanted another. I hope it's easier for both of us this time!
