Week/fruit/EDD: 11w4d Lime 11/8
FTM, etc: 3TM
Appointments: Next appt is NT scan 5/6
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): finding out hopefully this week!
Symptoms: constipation, sore boobs, fatigue, some cramping
Rants: I think my kids are trying to sabotage my sleep. They are getting up multiple times each night and then for the day by 6am. I am maybe getting 5-6 hours of sleep a night. I need a day to myself to nap.
Raves: I can't believe that I will know the gender this week! I am hoping I get my NIPT results tomorrow, but with my luck it will be friday or next week.
GTKY: I'm not good at thinking of questions, so sorry if these are boring. Has anyone thought about a nursery yet? We are building a house right now that will probably be done right after baby is born. My 16 mo old is still sleeping in our room in a pack n play so I probably won't do anything with a nursery for a while because we will need to use that room as a guest room for a while.

Week/fruit/EDD: 10w4d
FTM, etc: STM
Appointments: 4/17, 14 wk appt
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): finding out. My doctor said we may find out at our 14 wk appt, but I'm trying not to latch onto that thought since it will still be early!
Symptoms: fatigue is my biggest one these days. My nausea/vomiting/food aversions have let up a bit over the last week which is so nice!
Rants: I had 7 vials of blood drawn this morning, blah. I hate blood draws.
Raves: I'm getting away and meeting up with family in Nashville this weekend. Looking forward to it!
GTKY: I'm not good at thinking of questions, so sorry if these are boring. Has anyone thought about a nursery yet?
Yes, mainly because our only option is my sons playroom. So we've started talking options for moving toys into his room and making the other room the nursery. I moved some stuff around this weekend, but we are looking at redoing some shelves in his closet so he has maximum storage space. So nothing else can be done yet.

Hi, is this an ok place to introduce myself? I was active on TCF until my F16 BMB moved to FB but I haven’t been around much since. I just found out yesterday that our 4th FET was successful with a beta of 156! We transferred 2 embryos this time so anxiously awaiting an ultrasound to find out if both stuck. Week/fruit/EDD: 4w2d/poppyseed/due December 29 FTM, etc: 4th pregnancy, 2 living children. Lost a baby girl last summer at 14 weeks. Appointments: Next beta is tomorrow Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): we’ll be team green this time Symptoms: crampy today, hoping it’s just embryo(s) nestling in nice and tight Rants: no complaints today, just thrilled to be pregnant Raves: we were pretty open with our family, friends, coworkers, etc. this time around and it’s been wonderful having so much support through this process. It makes me nervous to be “openly pregnant” this early but I’m so grateful for our support system GTKY: I'm not good at thinking of questions, so sorry if these are boring. Has anyone thought about a nursery yet? I found this set of prints of animal twin babies on Etsy and I’m obsessed. If it turns out to be two babies in there, I want to do this.

Week/fruit/EDD: 7w6d blueberry 12/4
FTM, etc: StTM
Appointments: blood draw Friday and endo appointment
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): finding out
Symptoms: more nausea this week, sharp needle-like stabbing boob pain (so fun), and what I think is uterine stretching, a pulling sensation around/over my hip bones
Rants: my H has to go oot for work next week and I'm not looking forward to handling the two year old all on my own. She's become a bit of a pill at times and I'm worried the change in routine will only bring out more.
Raves: still pregnant
GTKY: we're in a 3 bedroom house with on of the bedrooms being a dedicated office (requirement since my H works from home) and the other being our toddler's room. This baby will likely be in our room for the first year (in a bassinet and then crib) and if we're still here after that point, the kids will be sharing a room, so no real nursery to plan for or design.

Welcome alpies! I'm also pregnant from a FET and we've been an open book from the start about our journey. So naturally people found out about this pregnancy earlier and I totally understand the nervousness you're feeling! We didnt share our pregnancy outside of immediate family with our son until 12 weeks, so it was scary to have so many people know so soon this time.

Since alpies was brave I will be too. I'm tiptoeing in with an EDD of 12/30. 4+1. I got two faint positives after work yesterday and strong + on a FRER this morning. Second time mom, my son M turned 3 this month. Appointments: Initial bloodwork tomorrow at 11:00 Team will find out Symptoms: Fatigue, coffee aversion, heightened sense of smell, tender breasts Rants: I vomited in the middle of the night Sunday. I never vomited while pregnant with M and I hope that doesn't become a trend. Raves: I'm pregnant! And if the baby sticks I won't have to travel for work in December. GTKY: Has anyone thought about a nursery yet? We have the basics: crib, dresser, linens, etc., already - though M is still sleeping in the converted crib. First we'll work on setting up his big kid room and then maybe I'll decorate a nursery in the fall. I am still processing and can't think too much about practical things yet lol.

So my OB's office just called with my NIPT results - all low risk!
We were planning to get a cake to reveal the gender but I had to know so opened the results and we are having another girl! My DH was obviously a little disappointed but happy that she is low risk. We are still doing a cake to surprise our girls on friday.

Welcome, alpies and notblanche! Week/fruit/EDD: 10+5 FTM, etc: STM Appointments: Had one last week, next week is the NIPT screening and then my 12 week regular appointment. Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Green! Symptoms: all-day nausea and now lots of pulling and stabby pains. Rants: Ugh, guys. I'm struggling through some really negative thoughts about this pregnancy right now, which I'm sure are related to feeling so sick and exhausted. I fixate on how long the pregnancy will be and how unprepared I feel for parenting two kids. And then I feel so guilty because we did IVF and we're so lucky, and its not this baby's fault that I'm feeling so run down. Raves: I wore all borrowed maternity clothes for my first, so I'm going kind of crazy buying cute stuff this time. I ordered a whole bunch of pants to try on and they've started to arrive. I plan to get into those suckers exclusively by next week. GTKY: Has anyone thought about a nursery yet? Um, we are going to have to move.

alpies and notblanche Welcome and congratulations! MsJennings Feel the feelings. It's ok to not be thrilled all the time. I think pregnancy is 40 weeks long to give us time to prepare. How old is your other child? By the time this baby comes out, this kid will be in an entirely new phase and you will have had time to adjust.

Week/fruit/EDD: 9w5d, cherry, 11/21
FTM, etc: 3tm
Appointments: may 8
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): finding out
Symptoms: nausea, bad taste, food aversions
Rants: tired of feeling sick
Raves: sleeping well
GTKY: I'm not good at thinking of questions, so sorry if these are boring. Has anyone thought about a nursery yet?
I'm not sure that this baby will get much of a nursery. We are building a house and will move (hopefully) this time next year. We will probably keep baby in our room for the first few months if there is enough room for a pack-n-play (not sure where it will fit). When we are ready to move baby to his/her own room, we will probably be starting to pack so I'll probably wait until we are moved to really decorate. We will just rearrange furniture as needed in what is now my guest room. If it's a girl though, I know it'll be pink and floral!

Congratulations alpies and notblanche! And MsJennings I’ve been feeling the same way with some negative thoughts like that. The idea of adding another kid while feeling like absolute crap these days is so overwhelming. I just want to feel like myself again!

Week/fruit/EDD: 8 weeks, 12/3
FTM, etc: 3TM
Appointments: Tomorrow morning! I’m so anxious about it.
Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): Maybe finding out.
Symptoms: All day nausea, exhausted, sore boobs.
Rants: I’m so tired of feeling crappy. Blah.
Raves: Still here.
GTKY: I'm not good at thinking of questions, so sorry if these are boring. Has anyone thought about a nursery yet?
No real “nursery” plans. Baby will be in our room for the first few months, and then we’ll probably move it to share a room with one of the kids. We have a 4th bedroom, but it’s downstairs (the other 3 are up) and is used as a guest room (my parents visit pretty often), so it’s not really an ideal place for any of the kids yet.

Welcome alpies - I'm pregnant from fet too! Welcome notblanche! MsJennings I felt that way a lot during my second pregnancy (also through IVF.) I physically felt fine, so I had no excuse lol. I think it's common because it's SO HARD parenting just one, it's hard to feel 100% excited about adding to that workload 100% of the time. I will say it subsided as I got closer and completely went away once little guy was here.

5w2d 3tm Team finding out asap! Symptoms: sore boobs and sooo tired Rants: work things Raves: my 4th and final beta on Monday came back at 1031, which is still low, but it's more than doubled for each draw so my ultrasound is scheduled for Monday Nursery: I think I'm going to move my boys into the same room and move baby into the 2 yo's room which is still set up like a nursery with a crib. I'm planning on adding some new details like sheets and maybe a new table. I'm more worried about where baby will sleep during the first months. We are ride or die RNP and need to find something else.

I go in for a beta today. I'm feeling sort of stunned. As if pregnancy isn't fun on its own, I get to do it with GAD and panic disorder too. And my final appointment with my current therapist is next week... I had a severe panic attack yesterday evening and today I'm trying to cope. I want to come home and do a little yoga later.

emmilally We used the RNP for lots of naps and daytime baby holding, so I'm looking for something I can drag around the house too. sarahh That looks like a good option. I was looking at some of the similar ones that are on rockers but still lay flat.

Is it okay if I intro here? I was originally on TB... active on TTGP and my kids’ BMB. Then last year active on GP and Jan 19 (loss) *TW loss* I’m very nervous and I feel silly doing an intro because I’ve had so many losses (one at 12 weeks due to becoming septic from contact with a sick person at work, baby was beautifully perfect) I can’t fully embrace the fact that I’m pregnant now, but in attempt to be happy in the now I’d like to say “hi!” Week/fruit/EDD: 4w1d so I’m technically Jan 1 I think FTM, etc: 4TM (DD 6, DS 4, DD 2) Appointments: getting my second beta drawn today Team (pink, blue, green, finding out): green Symptoms: none really yet Rants: I can’t hide my pregnancy at work because of hazards I have to avoid when pregnant, so 3 of my close co-workers have known about my (“successful”) pregnancies and losses, including early losses. They had no idea what to say when I said I’m pregnant and I’m having betas drawn. (We work in healthcare so they know what betas are.) Today one asked when I’ll know the results to this draw. I told him tomorrow and he said, “So will you give us a heads up to avoid the topic if it’s not good news?” Yikes. Raves: today I’m pregnant and not spotting! GTKY: I'm not good at thinking of questions, so sorry if these are boring. Has anyone thought about a nursery yet? We plan on our girls sharing a room and keeping the current nursery as such because it’s not gender specific... it’s hot air balloon themed.
