Week/EDD: 37+4. RCS scheduled May 2
Baby is the size of: a honeydew melon
STM
Appointments: this Friday-my last one!
Milestones: early term
Symptoms: achy joints. I can barely get up after getting down to do stuff with DD on the floor
Rants: These last few weeks are dragging by! I have everything done and the waiting is so hard. I still have 10 days left and I don't want to do anything. And I still have one more shift left at work.
Raves: We had a really good Easter weekend! Now I'm just trying to decide what to do with our last weekend before the baby comes. I'll probably have a few chores like deep cleaning the carpet one last time but maybe we'll fit something fun with DD in too.

Week/EDD: 35w 1d
Baby is the size of: Honeydew
FTM, Etc: STM
Team: Blue
Appointments: Next Thursday. Baby is possibly sitting sideways and if he still is by then they might try and re-position him. Which I'm not looking forward to.
Milestones: Seeing some really big kicks
Symptoms: All of them. Heartburn. Constipation. Each day I get to play a little riskier version of the game 'contractions or gas?'. Oh, and some pretty serious mood swings. It's like the two weeks after having DS1 bad, I'm crying a lot.
Rants: DS1 has started screaming in a brand new, shrieking hysterical cry every time I lay him down for a sleep. For a good 30 minutes. I might be losing it.
Raves: I didn't have high blood pressure at my last appointment. Can't say what it'll be like next appointment.

Week/EDD: 33+6, due 6/6
Baby is the size of: feels like a boulder in the middle of the night!
FTM, Etc: FTM
Team: 💙
Appointments: Friday
Milestones: we’re down to just a month and a half!
Symptoms: everything is sore, started feeling occasional BH, peeing all the time
Rants: it’s physically uncomfortable to get down on the floor constantly, and yet I still find myself doing it at work. Set pieces need to be finished, whether I’m uncomfortable or not. I can’t wait for this show to open tomorrow so I can be done painting and building. Just normal classes for the next few weeks, and then summer!
Raves: we painted our bedroom, and shampooed the carpets while all the furniture was out. It took longer than I had hoped, because H isn’t as good at Painting as I am but I’m definitely not doing ceiling cut ins! We were joking that this was all part of setting up the bassinet - step 1, paint bedroom, step 2, shampoo carpets, step 3, open bassinet box and follow instructions from there.

Week/EDD: 34 +1, due June 3
Baby is the size of: Savoy cabbage
FTM, Etc: FTM
Team: Pink
Appointments: not until next Thursday
Milestones: is rage a milestone? 😐
Symptoms: heart burn, cramps, sharp pains, exhaustion and my back has been sore the last few days
Rants: we cannot figure out a name for this baby. People keep sending me names, which while they are trying to be helpful, has only served to make me angry because I hate them all. The only one I liked it way to close to my niece’s name to use, and that just makes me even more angry. I am being ridiculous but I am so frustrated, angry and sad. I am sure the hormones aren’t helping! I have also been so exhausted lately that all I want to do is sleep. I have no energy for anything and it is really getting in the way of the stuff I still need to get done. Sorry for all the whining, that got long.
Raves: I only have 7.5 more days of work so I am definitely happy about that!

Week/EDD: 30+2
Baby is the size of: Something bigish
FTM, Etc: STM
Team: Pink
Appointments: OB on the 9th and to schedule my RCS.
Milestones: Less than 9 weeks to go!
Symptoms: Everything:/ And I'm so so tired.
Rants: HR has still not gotten back to me about my mat leave...which is annoying because I'm off on medical leave at the end of the week and don't have anything set yet for my may leave. Which means I'm going to have to send emails and make phone calls from home trying to get everything sorted myself. Grrr.
Raves: DD is being lovely and is starting to get much more excited about baby.

Do you have it narrowed down to any names or are you still looking for any name?

Choosing the name is seriously so stressful. Do you have it narrowed down to any names or are you still looking for any name? We are still looking, although at this point I think I need to take a break. Haha! We have a list, but my top name was the one that is basically the same as my niece, so that is out now that I realize that. Everything else is just kind of there, and the more I read them the less I like them. It is definitely stressful! 😔

@bonnieparker, we didn’t have a name for DS until I was right around 40weeks and H threw it out one day and we both loved it. Up until that point H had been super unhelpful so I was really surprised he came up with something good. So you might come up with something yet!

PDQ- Ayla (niece) and Isla (the name I wanted), and then our last names are only 2 letters different, so it sounds almost identical.

@bonnieparker honestly I understand they have a similar sound... but they are two different names and I would still consider using your name!

@bonnieparker, I think I would still consider using it too. For some reason it just seems like a totally different name even if it is similar.

@bonnieparker My DD and my aunt have the same first and middle names. Only the very first letter is different (DD starts with M and aunt starts with N so it sounds virtually identical). We didn't even realize it until DD was at least a year old. No one even makes the connection. They are still two entirely different names. If you want to use it I say use it.
