I’m thinking this can be a weekly check in for those of us struggling to work out and/or eat healthy to keep us accountable.
What went well this week?
What didn’t?
What’s your workout/eating plan for this upcoming week?

What went well this week? I ran 30 miles this week (11 today)! I don’t know the last time I had over 20 miles in a week, but being on school break and having decent weather certainly helped.
What didn’t? My eating hasn’t been great. We got ice cream last weekend, and last night we got pizza for dinner and ice cream for dessert. Tomorrow won’t be great either with the holiday.
What’s your workout/eating plan for this upcoming week My meal plan: Saturday: creamy meatballs and green beans Sunday: pot roast with potatoes, carrots, and green beans Monday: pulled pork, mashed cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts Tuesday: chicken crust Alfredo pizza Wednesday: chicken French and mashed cauliflower Thursday: grilled pesto chicken and creamy green beans
I’m hoping to run Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, but the weekday runs will depend on weather.

What went well this week? I'm going to have my first 20+ mile running week in a while. Thanks school break. I needed this!
What didn’t? Eating. All the bad food, fast food, eating out. And tomorrow will be a wash too with the holiday.
What’s your workout/eating plan for this upcoming week? Do my best to eat clean as possible and stick the what I plan in MFP as much as possible. I usually load my whole day in first thing in the morning. I need to stick to it. I'm making kung poa chicken with brown rice and peas for my dinner all week because that's how I do best; one meal, precooked and preprepped. I'm hoping I can drag myself up in the mornings and workout everyday before school with Monday being my wiggle room day since I usually go to boot camp Monday evenings.

Wow bethkate, 30 miles!! My monthly goal at OTF this month is 31.3 for their ultra marathon challenge... for the entire month. 🤣 I usually get 2.5 miles in or so per class, depending on what we are doing that day. Today was 2.4. My workouts are going great. I go to Orange theory 4-5 times/ week, sometimes less if I want to Peloton. I have gained strength and endurance over my time here for sure. I never imagined I could run a mile in less than 7:30! My eating has been not as great. Not bad, but I would say my effort level is somewhere around 75%. I have just been hungry, and at the end of the day when I have used all my macros, I have been caving and eating something else. I have still been focusing on protein and hitting that goal. But, my weight is slowly decreasing, so maybe I really am just burning more calories now due to increased muscle mass? And the extras I’m eating aren’t affecting things? I don’t know. But I’m actually happy with how things are going. I’m not being super strict and I’m still seeing results, which is encouraging. The first pic is from February 2018, which is actually after I lost a few lb in January. But between these two pics is about 25 lb. I am also including a pic of me in Hawaii because it is one I actually like of myself (and better than the sweaty post 90 minute OTF one in the collage 🤣)

thatgolfb, you look great! 30 miles is a lot for me. I’m usually closer to 15-20 a week. I’m bad at cross training, though, so it’s easy to hit tgat mileage when my workouts only consist of running.

What went well this week? I worked out and closed all of my Apple Watch rings every single day this week. A few months ago I was working out maybe 1-2 times a week, so this is huge for me. I also got down to my lowest weight in a while- I’ll probably be back up again after this weekend though.
What didn’t? Yesterday’s eating was pretty bad and today’s won’t be much better but I want to enjoy the holiday.
What’s your workout/eating plan for this upcoming week? Going to the gym Monday and Thursday morning before work. Walks/runs the rest of the week. Probably another gym day on Saturday too.
I’m taking a break from meal prepping this week but I’ll probably pop some salsa chicken in the IP this afternoon to have tomorrow night since I work late.
Monday- salsa chicken tacos or salads
Tues- shrimp skillet with zucchini, peppers, onions, and feta over cauli rice.
Wed- meatball sandwiches, salad or frozen veg
Thurs- leftovers
Fri- grilling out something- probably either burgers or chicken wings.

cnf, TTMA your treadmill. I’m looking into maybe getting one since E hates the gym babysitting. It’ll mostly be for the winter, but I definitely want it to be something that can handle a lot of miles. What brand do you have?

cnf, TTMA your treadmill. I’m looking into maybe getting one since E hates the gym babysitting. It’ll mostly be for the winter, but I definitely want it to be something that can handle a lot of miles. What brand do you have? We have a Life Fitness 95T. It's commercial grade that we bought used from the fitness center at H's old work place like five years ago. It's a fricken beast. It already had over 35k miles on it when we bought it but the two of us will never run enough to kill it. I love it but I don't know if it'll fit up the basement stairs when we move 😬 like it's legit that big and only comes apart in two pieces. If you want something you can pound hard I'd highly suggest a used commercial grade machine. If you can find an actual fitness equipment retailer by you they always have used ones that will be a comparable price to something that is new and higher end. You can also find them online for pretty cheap. Ours goes for about $1200 on eBay but you have to pay for freight shipping which increases the cost. This is the only treadmill we've ever owned minus whatever $500 Walmart treadmill my mom always had while I was growing up, so I don't have a lot of info on anything you can but from say Dicks or Sears. The running thread on the healthy living board or the monthly accountability thread on GD might have some other suggestions.
