What is everyone doing for Easter? What's the menu? Doing any activities? Talk to me.

We're hosting at our place this year. Lots of work but good because it has forced us to finish some key projects (like the bench I built and I wound up making our kitchen table, too). Menu - I have everyone bringing something Starters: Cheese plate (cheddar, honey goat, and alouette with dill) with crackers and grapes, guacamole and hummus with chips Proteins: ham, turkey breast Sides: Baked beans, dauphinoise potatoes, salad, veggie, deviled eggs, bread Dessert: banana pudding, carrot cupcakes Drinks: Wine, mimosas, Bloody Marys, Beer ActivitiesEgg hunt (duh) Egg dying It should be nice and in the low 70's, so trying to keep everyone outside to play as much as possible I keep feeling like I am missing something

For some reason, this is the first year I'm really excited for Easter with the kids. I don't know if its their age or what but I feel like holidays are really starting to get fun so I plan to be OTT and extra when I can. We are hosting, but it's just us and my dad. We are not ham people, so we are doing a small turkey and ribs. For sides, I am doing homemade potatoes au gratin, garlic roasted Brussel sprouts, cole slaw, and rolls. Oh and carrot cake duh. and booze. The kids are going to dye eggs for the first time this year also! I think we will do that tomorrow and then on Easter Sunday morning we are doing their baskets and then an Easter egg hunt indoors later on since the weather sucks and it's going to rain all weekend. Edited because after seeing the recipe starbuck posted, I am going to make those now.

We are hosting dinner at our house but MIL already bought most of the meal so she'll make a ham, potato salad, green bean casserole and a bunny cake that she likes to make. We're going to make a chicken and either brussel sprouts or carrots for another side.
I think we're going to do egg dying today or tomorrow, then an indoor Easter egg hunt for the kids Sunday.

I’m hosting brunch as I told y’all earlier. The house is all decorated. I was laughing looking at my home made bunny banner thinking how I actually did things like make bunny banners pre-kids. Menu: Mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, Lemonade, Punch Deviled Eggs Hash brown casserole Ham sandwiches lox breakfast casserole (not excited... my MIL is bringing) Ham and cheddar Quiche Fruit salad
Banana pudding
Easter basket opening in the morning then egg hunt either before or after brunch. I decided to skip egg dying this year (Easter Scrooge). Maybe next year.

I'm hosting, this is the only holiday that we ever host and I love it.
We're doing a brunch this year:
Monte Cristos Hashbrowns Deviled eggs Bacon and sausage Lemon poppy seed muffins Assorted fruits Mimosas
We'll do an egg hunt with the boys. It's supposed to be decent out this weekend and I am so excited to do the egg hunt outside this year!
Oh! And we'll dye eggs tomorrow. I can't wait!

We’re going to my SIL’s house and will eat around 4. This is the first time they’ve hosted.
Leg of lamb Ham Some type of potatoes Brussel sprouts Jalapeno Cream Corn Glazed Carrots Deviled eggs Cheese and fruit plate Strawberry rhubarb cobbler
We’ll look for eggs in the morning inside the house when we wake up, then church, nap and head to my SIL’s house.

I have no clue what she is cooking. Could be Jiggs, or some random assortment of stuff. We'll see lol. I'm bringing leftover cupcakes/deserts from the bachelorette last night thats all I know.

Salt meat, potatoes, carrots, turnip, cabbage, riasin pudding, peas pudding, all boiled in a big pot. Plus turnkey, stuffing, gravy (or chicken/roast for a smaller crowd).

We buy it by the bucket.

Oh ok! So like St Patty’s dinner here. It's Sunday Dinner here lol. We had it every Sunday growing up. I don't make it every week now because I work weekends, but every Holiday and most other family get-togethers that's what we have.
