What a day. I was off work, with a long list of things to do. I wont bore you all with the details, but since we all snapchat, you have all seen my kids allergic reaction to the air maybe? I dont know. We ended up at urgent care for a steroid shot and will be starting zyrtec once this is all cleared up. It does look quite a bit better now, but still more swollen than I have ever seen it. She was a trooper through it all.

Allergies suck in little kids. I remember when I discover LO was allergic to cashews and pistachios super scary.

I took a baby bonding day today since LO doesn’t have school. We took both kids to iHop then to the railroad park so LO can do an egg hunt. He shared one of the rubber duckies he found with his sister. He decorated a cookie shaped like an egg and won a prize at one of the games. C went to work, kids napped. We tried to go to Gymboree at the outlet mall but it’s already closed, even though it shows still open on their site. So we went to target instead.
I learned a lesson today, don’t take LO with me when I go birthday gift shopping for one of his friends. He told me his friend Au would like a toy and as we were leaving he tried to open it and play with it. Now I’m questioning if it’s something she would like.

Allergies suck in little kids. I remember when I discover LO was allergic to cashews and pistachios super scary. That's why I'm baking cup cakes. A's cousin has a step daughter with a peanut allergy. Their grandma wanted to make the cake so she asked me to make some cupcakes. she knew I could make a safe option for her since I'm familiar with my mom being allergic. Cousin is afraid their grandma wont take the allergy seriously enough and cross contaminate. And the girls real mom already hates cousin- I think an allergy reaction might land them back in court...

Well our unexpected girls night with my mom and sis came to a quick halt. I got my pedicure, went to Target, then as soon as we sat down to order dinner my dad FaceTimed me. Sierra was in the middle of another long seizure that was approaching the 5 minute mark. He was slightly freaked out by it. He’s only seen her have short 30second ish ones. So I talked him through it and what to do and instructed him on the emergency med that we literally just got yesterday that he would have to administer rectally. But thankfully she came out of it on her own and he didn’t end up having to use it (which would’ve included a 911 call if he did). So we got our food to go and came back home to relieve my dad, who was quite thankful. He’ll probably never want to babysit by himself again.
These long seizures have only happened a handful of times. So it is a little scary that she’s had 2 in 4 days time. I hope this isn’t a new thing for her.

I think my dad would have either a. Passed ou or b. Just called 911 in a complete panic. I am constantly baffled by how well you and your family/village handle all that is thrown at you and S. You're amazing lfig.

You're amazing lfig. The crazy thing is, my dad has had 2 seizures in the past (grand mal/tonic Clonic) and is on seizure medication. So he knows enough. But it still scared him.

LO clogged the toilet and water spilled all over the bathroom. So I deep cleaned all the bathrooms except for the tubs. C will need to do that on Monday. My back couldn’t handle it. We are waiting for eggs to dry to finish decorating them, banana bread in the oven and I have started dinner.
A load of dishes are in the dish washer and I’m working on laundry, so much laundry.
Once the kids are in bed then I got to put the items in the baskets. Hopefully it goes smoothly putting them to bed.

Look what I put together all by myself. I’m kind of proud of myself.
