Good morning. I am so happy it is Friday! C did not want to go to school today and asked me to pick him up early, which I can't today. He never asks for that so I think maybe I will take him for ice cream after pick up tonight. It's also my friend at work's birthday so I am taking her out to lunch. This will break my streak of bringing lunch every day since the New Year, but its a special occasion and she's had a rough time lately.
How are you all doing? Where has chrisy01 been? I feel like I haven't seen her around the past few days. |

Morning. Holiday here, but bad storms expected later. We are going to Costco when it opens and then prepping for Easter since tomorrow we will be gone all day at my mom's house. I did anlate night target run and drove to the further away one which is typically nicer...omg they redesigned the store and it was so so messy. I felt lost wandering around. I got kids some Easter basket stuff, but couldn't figure out what to put in the eggs.

Morning! So glad it's Friday!!
Chase is at school but I have Colin home with me. We tried making slime but it didn't work with his glitter glue, so we opened a set of remote control cars he got for his birthday to stave off a meltdown. It pays to hide some gifts for later.
We have another hour or so before we head to the movies, then we'll meet DH for lunch after. I'll stop at some point for some regular glue so we can try the slime again later.

I love having a break, but mh has been on his phone so much it’s infuriating. I let it go for the first few days, but I had to say something last night. He isn’t absent with it and he’ll always help or do whatever I ask, but I don’t want to have to ask. The phone was the default this week. He was receptive (and a little pissy) about it last night but seems to be trying this morning.

Morning! I'm off and MH decided to take the day off! We are prepping for L's party that hopefully is happening tomorrow (it's been rescheduled twice). Also hoping MH takes the kids out so I can prep for Easter.

Morning. The boys and MH are home today and I’m heading in to work. It stormed over night and temps are dropping. Not cool since we have baseball tonight. I also need to get Easter basket items. I only have the boys gardening sets I got on amazon last month. I need to try to make to do lists for this weekend while at work today. So much happening in the next couple weeks with Denver and closing on the house.

Morning.
I was off yesterday because a middle of the day dental appointment for B. Did some errands and I think got the Easter gifts all purchased
Off today and Monday as well, and MH had his first of three final exams for french yesterday, he’s been a wreck lately so i’m hoping that this weekend will be a good rest for him, and in turn, us.
Not much on the agenda today, there are a couple mass times today so i’ll probably go to one.

Got to remove an earring back out of Cadence's earlobe this morning. Apparently, she has been tightening them a little bit each day to the point that it was pushed into the lobe. That was fun. Then mh tried to say it was because she was too young to have earrings. No, dumbass, it happens to adults too! Anyway, she said it didn't hurt, I cleaned it up and told her not to touch her earrings any more. I'll be checking them again every night to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Last night E was throwing a big tantrum about reading. He was doing great up to a point then just stopped trying. And he decided with his tantrum that he was going to put himself to sleep because I said he couldn't play Uno until he finished the page. Well then we had out new neighbors moving in and making a bit of noise so we read a book instead. But this morning he still wanted to play Uno so the first thing he did was pull out his Peppa book and read it to daddy. Guess that is what they are doing on their day off together. It was nice to come out and see him reading with daddy though. Such a sweet moment!

chrisy01, I am sad to see you so down about your job. You had been so happy with the job even though you didn't like some of your coworkers. I hope you find your peace in it again. cagoldi I didn't comment yesterday. I Think the plan they made for X sounds like one made from experience adn knowledge about the future and like a great asset. I mean helping you address issues before you have to battle them is really helpful. And just picturing someone bullying X is shocking to me with his sweet little cheeks and smile. tallb thanks for that article yesterday

Listen, friends don't look at friends as Debbie Downers. We want to be here for you if you need to vent because sometimes its hard to always be saying it in real life. I don't think any of us have ever been like "ugh so sick of this" Instead its been like "I can't believe they are screwing her again!". At least that is where I am coming from. We want to know how you are doing so feel free to vent anytime. You know I let it all hang out here  |

I was actually thinking about him yesterday, because I stumbled across a blog by a patient that has Lyme and is getting the same IV IG treatment I do. Hope things turn around for him soon. |

I hope things turn around at work soon chrisy01. Hi ladies. I have a 1/2 day workshop and a friend will be there so it'll be good to see her. I realized I'm in the midst of 2 months of working/being gone without a weekend at home. Not all for bad reasons (vacation is some of it). But it just makes it feel like a long haul before I can relax at home. Although who am I kidding, when I'm home I never let myself sit for long. |

Yaaaay weekend! Had a great day today at work. We rented an old warehouse to shoot short films & pictures of/about young informal caregivers, complete with a cameraman, director & photographer. It was fun, plus we got to enjoy plenty of sunshine during filming.

Been organizing the basement some more. It's never ending down there. I need to run to the store later and J needs a hair cut. I have 2 dozen cup cakes to make and decorate for a birthday party tomorrow and I also need to find a gift for the birthday kid. I need to get groceries for Easter too. Man I'm busier today than I thought lol. And A has a friend and his family stopping out soon to see the house. So I need to sweep my floors real fast..

Some happy news this week. One of my mom's daycare families had a rainbow baby. Tragically they had a baby who was still born a little over a year ago. Understandably the parents have been anxious throughout the pregnancy. A healthy baby boy came on his own on the date they were going to perform a C-section if he didn't arrive by then.
