Wendy wolf. MH thought it was Danny dog too but the outfit doesn’t match. Is she new? I have no idea who Wendy Wolf is! I have no idea. I had to look it up.

Ours is 4pm on a Wednesday. Not too much of an inconvenience and we can go out to dinner afterwards to celebrate.

I may be the outlier, but I much prefer school functions during the day, causing me having to rearrange my schedule, than it being in the evening causing the kids to having to change their schedule. Do.not.want.to.mess.with.bedtime.period.

Do.not.want.to.mess.with.bedtime.period. I agree, but because it is a one time, I’m trying not to get too worked up about it. However, since we got this information I have been remarking to mh each night either how exhausted they are at 7 pm or how they’re already asleep at 715.

Do.not.want.to.mess.with.bedtime.period. My issue is A has limited PTO and now that he's in charge he can't just skip the morning. They have to replace him at the job site for any time he's not there. And we're saving his PTO for when baby girl get here.

Dh has the same if he isn’t there, the whole class is teacherless, not an option... my work is more flexible fortunately.

Ours is on a Friday from like 10-12 or something. We'll just take her out to lunch afterwards and make a day out of it. The teacher hinted that last year only 3 kids stayed and she got to go home early, so I'm pretty sure she would like to do that again this year.

Ours is a Wednesday at 4:00. B/c S moved into the PreK class early last year, we did the graduation last year with them. IIRC they had us pick the kids up by 2:00 so they could go get ready. They rent out a local room at a park that just happens to be behind our house so we will probably have his BFFs over after for pizza.
It's weird though b/c it's wednesday, then he just goes back there the next day since it's also our DC. He is leaving DC to start camp this summer, but it doesn't start till the following Monday.

Col's was at 9:30 last year - I remember because I took the red eye home and had to scramble to shower before heading over. The kids all played on the playground for an hour or so afterwards and everyone left early. We even grabbed Chase so we could all go out to lunch together. The teachers put a ton of work into their ceremony and were so wiped out, I would have felt awful about leaving Colin there. They needed the early day!

I prefer the evening. I don't want to take PTO for school things. That's why he goes to school. Also with DH's schedule midday would be a nightmare. I think C's is at 6:30 this year. Since he has no younger siblings it isn't an issue for us but I could see the issue if he did.

And I bet most people with younger siblings have a babysitter/family member who can to help out.

A gets home at 6:30 but with stuff like this he'll skip out just a few minutes early and I'll bring a change of clothes for him and he just meets us there.

Is she new? I have no idea who Wendy Wolf is! I have no idea. I had to look it up. I only remember her being in three older episodes: one where they help welcome new neighbors (the wolf family), one where Daddy Wold kind of menacingly alludes to eating Daddy Pig during a picnic, and another when Wendy is at a camp out party in the front yard of Pedro Pony’s house. Clearly, we’ve watched a lot of Peppa.

MH kept saying it was Danny Dog and M refused to accept that answer since the outfit was different. I told her I knew who to ask!

Plus, like you said, different clothes.
